FRONTIER comes to Newcastle, live on iPPV, for our first show under the Angelica Jones era! All of FRONTIER’s champions were in action tonight including a massive champion vs champion main event between World Heavyweight Champion Sean Sands and Commonwealth Champion Evangelista. We also had a few surprises, some big returns including a hometown hero, and some new faces – two of whom we get to see in action in our opening match.
OOKAMI no Chi vs Riku Ozaki vs Rocky O’Reilly
The big man called “Bomber” Ozaki is first out, and the fans clearly respect the Japanese veteran’s talents, even if they don’t approve of how he conducts himself. Then there’s a warm reception for the high-octane OOKAMI no Chi, familiar to FRONTIER fans from her regular guest appearances and now on a full-time developmental secondment contract from FRONTIER’s Japanese sister promotion FRONTLINE. The final entrant, Rocky O’Reilly, gets the most interesting reaction though. He’s greeted with cheers from those familiar with him – minus the ones who saw GCW’s Deadly Dreams PPV last night and saw O’Reilly turn his back on his adoring fans to side with the villainous Legacy faction! The split reaction is causing some confusion among the crowd; Rocky himself seems at once both amused and angered by it all.
The early match revolves around Ozaki, as both OOKAMI and O’Reilly focus their respective explosive arsenals on getting the heavyweight off his feet. However, the two young guns don’t seem to be willing to work together, and Riku is more than happy to let them fight each other for the chance to come at him, capitalising with a double clothesline here or a scarily powerful suplex there to make sure neither of the smaller competitors builds up too much momentum. Nothing lasts forever, though, and quite by accident there comes a point at which Rocky and OOKAMI catch him on opposite sides of the head with a respective jumping enzuigiri and spinning heel kick at the same time, and the combined force is enough to take the veteran out of it.
OOKAMI and Rocky’s dance resumes, with an added element of each taking the odd detour between exchanges to keep Ozaki from getting back into things. However, as each does so, neither is willing to take their eyes off the other. As befits two competitors known for their relentless pace and boundless energy, the match is blisteringly fast and many high impacts are suffered by both combatants in a relatively short space of time. It’s enough to draw their focus deeper onto each other – leaving them vulnerable to a double lariat from Ozaki, who’s been given enough time to get his bearings back! He smashes Rocky with a scoop driver, then as OOKAMI dives for him, simply catches her and after a kneeling backbreaker throws her on top of their opponent. After whipping O’Reilly into a corner, Ozaki lifts OOKAMI back up and charges in like a battering ram to crush them both.
Satisfied with his display of power, Ozaki goes back to his more usual strong style strategy, switching from opponent to opponent rapidly to make sure neither can rest up. He lifts Rocky and calls for his finisher of choice, the Matsumoto Flip – a gory special into a sitout powerbomb, a move with which he’s won many a match. Rocky knows that, and he sandbags as hard as he can before managing to slip his arms under Riku’s to create an opening for a volley of stiff knees to the chest in the furious combo known as Break It All Down. A DDT later, he heads to the top and gets ready for his dangerous signature diving move, the Landslide – but Riku throws OOKAMI at the ropes to knock him down! He peels the winded Rocky from the top and slams him down with a powerbomb style flapjack, getting a two point nine off the subsequent count until OOKAMI breaks it up with a basement dropkick to Riku’s face.
The young wolf-warrior is all over the Bomber with all kinds of strikes, keeping him on one knee. As he sways around, dazed, she leaps onto the ropes and then straight back out in a no-hands springboard dropkick! She follows that with a shining wizard to knock him down, and scores a near fall off it. She doesn’t even take a second after the kickout to resume her offence, peppering him with kicks before trying to lift him over her shoulders… to no avail, as he has roughly ninety pounds on her. He pushes her away and whips her into the corner, then charges – but she swings down and catches him with a pendulum kick! He falls over the ropes for balance and this time, with their help, she manages to drag him over her shoulders just long enough to swing the big guy into her inverted northern lights bomb, the Chasedown Bomb!
The fans jump to their feet to applaud and cheer the achievement, and despite how much the move took out of her OOKAMI favours them with a big grin and a fist pump. But suddenly she’s rolled up from behind by Rocky O’Reilly! She strains to kick out but he’s got both fists full of her tights for leverage and that’s the three count!
In contrast to the start of the match, the fans are now all booing Rocky, but he dismisses them and lets the ref raise his arm. After all, they’ve had their chance to love him and they blew it.
WINNER: Rocky O’Reilly!

“Wake Up” by Mallory Knox blasts through the speakers, bringing out the members of Fear & Loathing In The UK. Both men draw cheers from the hot Newcastle crowd, as they both storm on the ramp in their new Union Jack jackets. The crowd gets even crazier as Sylar takes the jacket off and reveals a Newcastle United jersey with number 9, the one who belonged to the legendary Alan Shearer. Both Sylar and Sterling move to the ring quickly and manage to clap hands with some lucky fans. In the ring, Drake takes the microphone.
Sylar Drake: My lovely Newcastle…
Cheap pop occurs, as predicted.
Sylar Drake: My name is Sylar Drake, right here with me is mister Sterling Everett and we are Fear & Loathing in UK.
Another pop and brief “Fear and Loathing” chant.
Sylar Drake: After months of finding our true selves, we are finally back to UK, back to Pro Wrestling FRONTIER, to fulfill the biggest goal. To take the British wrestling to a whole new level and most of all… finally bring the well deserved glory to the names Sylar Drake and Sterling Everett! So tonight, Newcastle, you better get ready to see a tag team wrestling clinic… and sooner rather than later, you will see us come for those World Tag Team titles too.
Everett snatches the mic from him and looks towards the entrance ramp.
Sterling Everett: Feed us.
And on cue, The Emissary – Sir Connor and Sir Corbin – make their entrance!
Fear & Loathing in the UK vs The Emissary
Connor starts off against Sylar. Sylar’s fast paced offense keeps Connor off balance and Corbin too when he is tagged in. Sterling Everett is tagged in and the pace slows down considerably as he uses a power game to overwhelm The Emissary. The tag is made back to Sylar who again picks up the pace but a mistake is made and The Emissary begin to isolate and double team Sylar. For a good ten minutes Sylar is at the mercy of The Emissary until he gets a Pele kick on Corbin at the last second. He tags in Sterling. Sterling is in like a house of fire as is both members of The Emissary. Corbin goes after Everett while Connor goes after Sylar on the outside. Sterling nails Corbin with Filthy Kill. He covers… 1… 2… Connor breaks it up! Connor with a DDT to Sterling and then The Emissary with a double superkick. In comes Sylar and he takes Connor out of the picture with a spinning roundhouse kick sending him to the outside. Corbin fights with Sylar but Sterling Everett is back to his feet. Everett takes Corbin and nails him with an Inverted Waterwheel Slam into a Codebreaker by Sylar! Around The World! Everett covers… 1… 2… 3!
WINNERS: Fear and Loathing in the UK!

Jenni Starr: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time please welcome the new owner of Pro-Wrestling Frontier…Angelica Jones!
“All The Things She Said” by T.A.T.U. begins to play over the PA system. Angelica steps out onto the stage and begins to make her way to the ring to a chorus of cheers from her adoring public. Jones enters the ring and retrieves a microphone from Jenni Starr.
Angelica Jones: Are you surprised?
The crowd cheers loudly in response.
Angelica Jones: Honestly I was surprised that I even made the offer. I am always the competitor. I live to be world heavyweight champion. Ever since I lost the GFC World Championship to Sean Sands I had it in my mind plots and plans to reclaim what should be mine. But then when the opportunity presented itself, one man convinced me to look for bigger and better things.
She smiles knowingly.
Angelica Jones: Silas Mason.
The crowd boos at the mention of her manager.
Angelica Jones: Boo if you wish but Silas is a visionary. He pointed out, and rightfully so, at how big of an impact I made as GFC World Champion. I did more marketing for this company than anyone else. Hell, I saved this company from certain doom as champion. If I did that as a competitor, how much more could I do if I owned the company? That is what Silas pointed out to me and with his encouragement, his help, I bought this company out from under CJ Osborne.
October twelve when we roll into Bournemouth International Center, GFC Commonwealth Champion Evangelista will defend against the woman who has been demanding a match against her and is undefeated, Arcadia Chavez. The English Purity Movement will defend the GFC World Tag Team titles against Fear & Loathing in the UK. And as for our World Championship…there will be a one night single elimination tournament to crown a new number one contender. We will not handpick losers or has-beens to face our champion. Sean Sands will have to face the best Frontier has to offer on a regular basis.
And that goes for ALL of our champions…Sean Sands, Evangelista, The English Purity Movement, they will all be tested by the best this company has to offer. THIS company right here. Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER. Fact is, FRONTIER needs to remind the world that we are not just a small time player. It’s time we remind the world that we can and do make an impact. It starts with our champions being fighting champions and these titles will be defended on FRONTIER programming on a regular basis and any champion who has a problem with my terms will face the threat of being stripped of their title.
I told everyone that Frontier is part of Silas World. Now there’s no denying it. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen…welcome to Silas World!

“Princess” Julia Noel vs Mia Scott
These two both are well versed in technical, submission style of wrestling and MMA and thus it creates for quite the old school wrestling clinic for the first seven minutes as they trade submissions. Mia then takes over with a belly to belly overhead and a Northern Lights release suplex. She goes for a triangle choke but Julia, who is an expert in that hold as well, counters it. Julia with a Queen’s Ransom DDT out of nowhere and covers but Mia gets a foot on the bottom rope. Julia goes for Glorification but Mia fights out of it and connects with Circle Line. She covers… 1… 2… 3!
WINNER: Mia Scott!

We open backstage to show the currently reigning GFC World Tag Team Champions Summer Newman and Crystal Swift. Summer is in her wrestling gear with the GFC World Tag Title belt draped over her right shoulder and the GCW North American Championship title belt draped over her left shoulder. Her tag team partner Crystal Swift is smiling happily while wearing her cheerleading uniform and has her GFC World Tag Team title belt draped over her right shoulder.
Crystal Swift: SUMMER! SUMMER! SHE’S THE BEST! SHE’LL BEAT YOU DOWN YOU CAN’T TAKE A REST! SUMMER! SUMMER! SHE’S A HIT! AS FOR YOU, YOU’RE A PIECE OF SH…
Newman holds a hand up over Crystal’s mouth.
Summer Newman: Hold on there, Crystal! We don’t want to get censored here…
Crystal Swift: Sorry girl! I just get sooooo totally excited when I stand next to my all time idol and stuff!
Newman rolls her eyes.
Summer Newman: Ignore her… I am Summer Newman, GCW North American Champion and one half of the GFC World Tag Team Champions alongside my personal cheerleader Crystal Swift!
Crystal Swift: HIYA GUYS AND GALS!
Summer Newman: The English Purity Movement is about making good and pure change in this society and we are making those changes. We are having a strong influence upon the world already. Our actions have not been in vain! You can already see that Crystal and I reign supreme over the tag team division here in FRONTIER, and over in GCW I hold singles gold and our other two movement members hold GCW’s tag team gold. We are all covered in gold…
Crystal Swift: COVERED IN GOLD! WHOO!
Summer Newman: Tonight we face Laurel Anne Hardy and her idiot brother Matty Graves, but we have bigger fish to fry. Fear & Loathing in the UK are back and seem to have their eyes set on our property.
Newman and Swift both shake their heads.
Summer Newman: It isn’t going to happen, boys. These belts are staying right where they are… with us…

Backstage, a group of two, both in ring gear: OOKAMI no Chi and Laurel Anne Hardy. Laurel is carrying two cups of coffee as she chats to OOKAMI in fluent Japanese; she peels off after a moment and heads down a side corridor while OOKAMI walks back towards the women’s changing room, assuring her they’ll meet up later.
Hardy emerges in a quiet area where Leanne Evangelista is sitting tightening her boot laces, head bowed, clearly deep in concentration ahead of her match with World Champion Sean Sands in tonight’s main event. She looks up and smiles as she accepts the coffee from Laurel.
Laurel Anne Hardy: How ya feelin’?
Evangelista: Nervous… lotta big matches lately, this might be the biggest. Need to turn things around here, now, tonight.
And she takes a drink before asking:
Evangelista: What about you? Ready to team with Matty for the first time?
Laurel Anne Hardy: As I’ll ever be. Still wish it was you or Allison, really, but…
She glances at the wall for a moment.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Still hopin’ like hell I won’t do anything to Crystal or Summer I’m gonna regret.
Evangelista: You’ll be fine.
She almost whispers this, but she means it, and they look into each other’s eyes with warmth.
Laurel Anne Hardy: So will you.
Evangelista: Thanks.
As the two have their moment, a throat is cleared just off camera. Spinning, the camera catches Matt Kail strolling into the dressing room, and a pop echoes offscreen as the fans in attendance catch up on the video screen. Kail is wearing an Evangelista shirt underneath an older UK Dragons sweatshirt from their shared GEW days. His eyes flick between the Dragons and he smirks.
Matt Kail: I hope I’m not interrupting something private.
Kail’s smirk widens as the Dragons turn to him.
Matt Kail: How’s it goin’ guys? You look like a bucket full of serious today.
Evangelista’s face breaks into a grin as she sees him and she jumps up to give him a hug.
Evangelista: Hey you! Good to see you!
Laurel Anne Hardy: Oh aye, Matt, bet if you really did burst in on us gettin’ off with each other you’d hate it…
She grins. She’s just being sarcastic.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Konbanwa, man. Welcome back.
Matt grabs a spare folding chair as he approaches and spins it around to sit down.
Matt Kail: Oh yeah, I’d be absolutely mortified.
He chuckles, but says no more past that.
Matt Kail: Seriously though, you two look like you have some shit goin’ on in your heads. Everything good? Worried about the matches and such?
Laurel Anne Hardy: I’m payin’ the price of popularity, mate. Four companies I wrestle for, an’ someone wants my head in three of them. An’ the only reason Arcadia Chavez don’t want my head here is that she thinks she’s already got it. An’ I got that big red nuclear button glowin’ in the sides of my eyes, man, and I ain’t pressin’ it, but it won’t let me forget it’s there.
Matt Kail: Says somethin’ about you if you won’t hit that button, though. There’s always that. Though I’m not sure I can comment on the whole having ones head hunted thing. People haven’t wanted to hurt me that much since the GEW. Who knows, maybe I’ll generate enough heat to steal some of your haters this time.
Evangelista: You ready to pick up where you left off last year – gettin’ back to wins over world champions? I’m hopin’ for one of those tonight myself.
Matt gives a slow nod.
Matt Kail: I’m sure you can pull it off, you’re good enough. And once you do, and then go on to nab yourself a world title, I’ll finish piling up ex-champions and come challenge you for it myself.
Evangelista: Never know. Maybe we’ll headline a PPV together one day.
???: I certainly hope so. I’ll be a bit ticked off if my star pupils let my ass die before they main event a card against each other.
The camera rotates again, and this time it is Shane Tallin who comes on screen. Tallin is a bit different than the last time he was seen on a FRONTIER show. He now dons a fairly thick, dark red beard. The multi-time world champion joins the Dragons and Kail in the room to a fairly raucous set of applause from the fans.
Shane Tallin: Not sure you’ll be doing that with me around though, Matt.
Tallin claps Kail on the back, and chuckles. Matt doesn’t return the laugh though.
Matt Kail: See it your way. You’re getting a bit pudgy though, old timer.
Kail returns Tallin’s clap on the back by slapping him on the gut, though it isn’t really evident if Tallin has put on any weight. Laurel points between herself and Evangelista.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Lest anyone forget, we’ve headlined a major show against each other!
Evangelista turns and shoots her a cold, pained look. Hardy shrugs apologetically.
Laurel Anne Hardy: That… wasn’t exactly a match though, I guess…
Shane Tallin: As much of a show as you guys put on… I don’t think that really counts.
Shane gives Laurel an apologetic look of his own.
Shane Tallin: I expect it will properly happen one day. Tonight though, and I’m sure you’ve been jawing about this all night already, but are you ready to knock some champions down a few pegs? I would be a shit trainer if I didn’t at least ask.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Ready as we can be, under the circumstances. We’ve been sparring a lot. Just have to see tonight how well we manage as a team.
Evangelista: You gonna be watching all these matches close tonight I assume, Shane? Scouting the talent in FRONTIER now…
Shane Tallin: That’s the plan. Me and Matt have seats in the front so we can get a good eye on things. We plan on sticking around for a bit this time, so I think it’s time we got a good handle on the folks they have around these days.
Matt Kail: Might help if you guys come down to the new gym, do some workouts with us, maybe run us through some shit you have learned about the roster here.
Evangelista: Sounds good. Maybe we can get Mia over, too, so you can show her some stuff. Bristol’s not that far from London, right?
Shane Tallin: Just around a couple of hours.
Evangelista: Yeah, that’d be cool then. I’m lookin’ forward to seeing you both back in action.
Matt twists his wrist around to get a glimpse of his watch.
Matt Kail: Speaking of action, we should get going before we miss anything. Wouldn’t be much of a scouting mission if we stayed back here with you two all night.
Shane nods in agreement as Kail stands up.
Shane Tallin: Eh, wouldn’t hurt too much to make it up by watching the taping.
Laurel coughs and crosses over to her trainer.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Actually, Shane… you got a minute? I could do with a word…
Though his brow furrows, Shane nods without hesitation.
Shane Tallin: Yeah, of course. Whatever you need…
He glances to Matt.
Shane Tallin: Make sure some drunk doesn’t steal my seat, eh? I’ll be back out shortly.
Matt gives a nod then looks to Laurel.
Matt Kail: Hey, Laurel, good luck. And tell your brother I said as much too.
Kail offers out a fist for a bump. Laurel smiles and returns it.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Thanks, man. It means a lot to know I’ve got you guys here for me.
Matt nods, and gives a quick salute to dismiss himself from the room. Evangelista glances after him, tightens her laces one last time, then jogs towards the exit too.
Evangelista: I’ll catch you guys later. Good luck, Laurel.
Laurel Anne Hardy: You too, babe. I’ll be watching, don’t worry.
When Matt and Evangelista are gone, and the door is shut behind them, Shane turns to Laurel.
Shane Tallin: Alright, what’s going on?
As Laurel claps her hands together and takes a breath, we fade out…

Diana Tremblay vs Michael Hopkins
Hopkins is all over Diana from the outset, wearing her down with striking moves and submissions. Tremblay gets a low blow behind the referee’s back and then nails a DDT. Tremblay then uses a variety of submissions of her own to wear down Hopkins. She goes for the Curse and hits it. She covers but he kicks out! Shocked, she goes for The Gift but he counters and nails three German suplexes in a row, releasing upon the third. Hopkins with a backstabber and then C4. He covers but she gets a foot on the bottom rope. He goes for The Dragon Tackle but Diana side steps him and then rolls him up from behind, hooking the tights for extra leverage… 1… 2… 3!
WINNER: Diana Tremblay!
After the match Diana Tremblay celebrates just like she won the world title itself. Hopkins is enraged that he had the match stolen from him and as soon as she turns around he nails The Dragon Tackle, spearing her out of her boots! The crowd roars loudly, cheering Hopkins as he is now the one celebrating over a fallen Diana Tremblay.

Non-Title Match
The English Purity Movement (Summer Newman & Crystal Swift, GFC World Tag Team Champions)
vs
Os Guerra (Laurel Anne Hardy & Matty Graves
Hardy gets a rapturous reception as ever, and her half-brother (with whom she’s teaming for the first time ever) gets a modest pop too. The same cannot be said of our World Tag Team Champions, who get absolutely showered with hate from the Geordie crowd who chant “We want Sylar! We want Sylar!” – clearly they haven’t forgotten who Summer and Crystal beat for those titles in the first place!
Laurel and Summer start with some good old fashioned chain wrestling. They go back and forth for some time, Hardy’s unorthodox World of Sport influenced, always-in-motion grappling and Newman’s more measured, grounded American style holds being tested against each other along with their shared knowledge of vicious Japanese joint locks and stretches. Summer finds control with an arm wringer and a kick to the back of the neck, and works Laurel over for a few minutes until Laurel manages to find a hammerlock reversal into a rope-run springboard armdrag, and as Summer falls against the ropes then comes back, a Pele kick! That nets first blood, a two count.
Laurel grabs Summer but Summer rolls Laurel up for a one point five. As they rise, Summer hits a standing enzuigiri and retakes control, continuing to punish Laurel with a careful combination of strikes, takedowns and holds. Eventually she tags out to Crystal, who continues the work for a couple of minutes. But disaster strikes when Hardy manages to reverse a vertical suplex and take advantage of the cheerleader’s shock to scurry across to her brother and make their first ever tag together! Matty knocks Crystal down with a leaping spinning back kick, continues straight into the ropes, and vaults out in a springboard crossbody for a two count. Wasting no time he lifts her, spins her round and throws her down on the back of her neck with a release northern lights suplex. That’s worth another two count.
Then, suddenly, Matty changes tack and starts talking to Crystal – earnestly trying to remind her that she used to hate Summer. But Summer barks that it’s a trick and Crystal mustn’t listen to it, and Crystal nods and knocks Matty down with a snapshot Crystal Kick! She tags back out, and the English Purity Movement start using rapid tags to keep him down and disoriented. The Tag Team Champions gain total control now, and despite Laurel Anne Hardy starting chants and rhythms of stamps to rally the crowd behind her brother, he just can’t break free from their perfect tag team tactics.
Until, finally, there is light for him! As they double-slingshot him into their corner, he throws his hands out onto the ropes to kill his momentum. Crystal’s already charging in behind him, and he drops under her – then as he rises lifts her in a backdrop suplex, throwing her right into Summer! The champions sprawl out and the young rookie darts for his sister – but his trailing leg is grabbed by Newman and she hauls him back into a lariat from Swift. And so the calculated beatdown resumes.
After some more time working him over, a Money Clip stunner from Newman into a second Crystal Kick from Swift gets the champions a two point nine, and they start to smile as they feel the end in sight. Summer tags herself straight back in and hooks Matty up for her patented side slam, the Stock Market Crash. She lifts – and her opponent flips her into a ranhei! The ref counts… and on two point five Crystal drops across Matty’s back with a clubbing double axe handle! The referee turns to order her out, and she and her mistress begin to argue with them – until a split leg dropkick from Matty Graves knocks them both down and allows him to dive across and slap his sister’s outstretched hand!
There’s a huge roar from the fans as Hardy vaults in, taking down both opponents with criss-cross running strikes. After kicking Crystal under the bottom rope to ringside she punishes Summer with a series of unorthodox lucharesu-inspired head drops. After that, the crowd chant along as she goes for a big hadouken, sending Summer reeling. Laurel asks if they want another one, and they scream in affirmation. She backs up her arms, strikes – Summer blocks! She spins Laurel around and tries to wrap her in a standing crossface chickenwing! But Laurel falls into a sitout jawbreaker, and as Summer reels, backrolls from sitting into a basement Pele kick! Crystal sprints into the ring, only to find Laurel already on the move to clothesline her right back out. Hardy stays on the ropes and vaults back out in a springboard corkscrew crossbody to Summer just as the leader of the English Purity Movement is standing up, and that gets a long two count.
Hardy remains in control for a good length of time, using her quickness and creativity to deny the champions openings. There’s a little scare when she almost goes for an uncalled-for kerb stomp, but with a little encouragement from Matty she manages to fight the temptation. However the champions finally force an opening for themselves when Hardy goes for a phoenix off the ropes on a side adjacent to enemy territory and Crystal runs down the apron to catch her with an elbow to the temple! Summer rolls Laurel up as the latter staggers back, scoring a very near fall. Crystal tags in and they kill all of Laurel’s momentum together while they have the chance, using their big gun double team signatures for a succession of two counts. Matty turns and starts clapping his hands, getting the audience behind his sister – not that they need much encouragement.
Feeding on the fans’ energy, Laurel manages to evade a clothesline from Crystal by sliding under her and pops up into a lungblower for a two count! Then, at long last, she sags back into her own corner and tags out. Matty knocks Crystal down with a running kick before she can do anything, then whips her against the ropes. As she rebounds he flips her up and over, drilling her with a spinning sitout piledriver! But before he can capitalise, her mistress Summer grabs him from behind, having blind tagged herself in as Crystal hit the ropes! Summer quickly wraps Matty up in a Million Dollar Dream, and though he struggles to escape for a little while, it isn’t long before he has to tap out.
WINNERS: The English Purity Movement!

Jessica Lasiewicz enters her mother’s office. Angelica smiles upon seeing her daughter enter.
Angelica Jones: Hi, Jessie! Great to see you!
Jessica Lasiewicz: Dispense with the pleasantries, mom.
Jones chuckles.
Angelica Jones: Something wrong, Jessie? Not happy to see me?
Jessica Lasiewicz: I am happy to see you and I’m happy for you, it’s just that…
She sighs.
Jessica Lasiewicz: I’m not sure I can compete in FRONTIER with you as its owner. There’s a clear conflict of interest.
Angelica Jones: I think you know I would be fair, Jessie.
Jessica Lasiewicz: I know that but the rest of the world doesn’t. I refuse to be seen as being coddled just because my mother is the owner. I may have to resign…
Angelica Jones: Wait…
Jones shakes her head.
Angelica Jones: Don’t resign. Give it a couple months. Give it a chance. You won’t know until you give it a chance, Jessie. Besides, your father wants me to make sure you’re safe and what better way to do that if I’m the owner?
Jessica Lasiewicz: Fine… against my better judgment, I’ll stick around. But do NOT show favoritism…
Angelica Jones: Good and Jess… good luck, you’re up next.
Jessica grins.
Jessica Lasiewicz: Thanks, mom…

Chivalry Is Dead
Arcadia Chavez vs Jessica Lasiewicz
Arcadia brings a ton of weapons out with her and Jessica is more than happy to use them. After a series of strikes and then suplexes from Arcadia, Jessica comes back with an Our Lady Peace, kicking a steel chair back into Arcadia’s face. Jessica with a Deformation, driving Arcadia head first into the steel steps. Jessica goes for a 450 splash through a table but Arcadia moves and Jessica crashes through the table. Arcadia pours tacks and broken glass all over the mat. Arcadia with a suplex onto Jessica onto the tacks and glass. Arcadia brings in a barbed wire bat and uses it against Jessica. Arcadia goes for The Scythe but Jessica counters into an exploder suplex. Jessica goes for Our Lady of Sorrows but Arcadia counters into the Samael Song! Jessica won’t give up… finally after nearly a minute in the hold Jessica passes out!
WINNER: Arcadia Chavez!

The camera crew backstage catch up with the GFC World Heavyweight Champion Sean Sands, as he’s finishing taping up his wrists, getting ready for his upcoming main event match against GFC Commonwealth Champion, Evangelista.
Cameraman: So, Sean? How you feeling about this match?
Sean shoots the camera a smirk.
Sean Sands: Ready.
Cameraman: Care to elaborate?
Sean Sands: ….Not really? Pretty sure you guys can understand what I mean by that. Not like I spoke it in a different language. I’m ready to go into this match against Evangelista. That better or…?
Cameraman: Fantastic. What about Kevin Hardaway?
Sean chuckles.
Sean Sands: The same guy who made his return a few weeks ago and hasn’t bothered to show up for this show? Yeah, don’t get me started on him just yet. He’s got a verbal and literal ass kicking coming his way soon. Now, if you’ll excuse me….
Sean finishes taping up his wrists and waves goodbye at the camera crew.
Sean Sands: I have a match that’s starting in just a few.
———————————————————————————————-
Champion vs Champion Non-Title
Sean Sands vs Evangelista
Both champions get a great reaction, and both take their time to make the fans feel appreciated before the match. Sands and Evangelista begin with a handshake, then start circling, hands at the ready. A lockup attempt is initiated, but Evangelista slides past and twists round to pull Sean up in a hammerlock. He kneels forward, flipping her over his shoulder, but she keeps hold of the arm and slides back between his legs for the pumphandle. She flips him, but he sandbags on his shoulders and tilts his legs up to get them around her neck in triangle choke. She rolls forward to push him into a pin. He kicks out.
Evangelista goes straight back on the offense, charging him – but he catches her and spins her round. She spins right through into an abdominal stretch, but can’t get it locked on fully. They struggle back and forth for a moment until he manages to roll her off her feet and into an armbar. She kicks and thrashes, then starts dragging herself around by the ankle in a circle until she can get a foot over the bottom rope. The count is started, and Sean releases at one.
As soon as Evangelista is upright he runs past her on the ropes and brings her down with a bulldog. As she rises he spins into a hangman’s neckbreaker and drops her down – but she holds onto him and backrolls over his shoulders, slipping her legs around his neck and going for a triangle choke of her own! He staggers to his feet and manages to plant her with a powerbomb, and rubs his throat for a moment before going for a cover which yields a two and a half. As the two competitors shake hands again and break apart for a moment, the audience erupts in applause.
From here the match favours Sands for a while… until it starts favouring Evangelista. There aren’t really any big counters – this is about two master athletes probing each other for the slightest advantage. The fight goes back and forth in this way for some time, both with decent runs of control but neither able to really maintain it. Both competitors are being very respectful here, both releasing on one whenever a count is started, and both allowing the other a little bit of recovery time after submission attempts. The first big moment comes when Evangelista attempts a roaring elbow and Sands counters it with a Lip Buster kick off the ropes, then follows that up with another kick to the head before heading up for a moonsault. He sails off – Evangelista rolls aside – he lands on his feet – but Evangelista downs him again with a dropkick to the back! She runs the ropes and catches him with a basement dropkick to the jaw, then backs up against a perpendicular rope. As he rises, she rushes him and drops into a sliding lariat – only to be swung into another armbar! Again, it’s only with a great deal of struggle that she manages to get a foot on the ropes.
Back up, Sean whips Leanne into a corner, but she dodges the kick coming in after her and his leg gets caught on the rope for a moment. Evangelista rolls past him and takes advantage of his predicament to wrap him up. Roaring at the strain, she flips him into the middle of the ring with a wrist-clutch T-bone suplex! The move finishes both of them, and they’re both left lying on the mat lifelessly. The referee begins to count – until the crowd shout their disapproval, refusing to allow this match to end by double countout!
Slowly they both get back to their feet. Things are a little less probing and a lot more proactive now as FRONTIER’s two singles champions launch into a rapid exchange of takedowns, feints and combos. Breaks of illegal holds are now moving a little more to the two and away from the one, as they each start to realise that that might be what it takes to put the other away. And still control goes back and forth, just as it did earlier in the match.
As the minutes wear on, though, things are inexorably turning Sands’s way. Evangelista is still finding counters and still showing incredible resilience, but after a while it’s definitely Sean controlling the overall direction of the match. Finally he senses it’s time to try to end this, and whips her against the ropes and finds a Sands Kick on the way back. Then he backs into a corner and hoists himself to the top, signalling for the Sand Drop – his corkscrew legdrop – to a big cheer. But Leanne pushes herself to her knees, fists clenched and teeth gritted, before he can jump! However after a couple of seconds she falls to her hands and knees. Sands leaps out in a legdrop bulldog – and finds himself caught and snapped out of the air in a desperation powerbomb! Evangelista pushes over him for the pin. One… two… threeeee – kickout! That could not have been any closer!
Evangelista scouts Sands as he rises, and leaps onto his back for the Headbreaker – NO! He spins through and pushes her down, leaping himself and connecting with a fameasser! While Leanne rolls on the mat trying to recover, Sean sinks back against the ropes to do likewise. As she gets to her knees he pushes himself forward then hunkers down, circling to stay behind her, clearly looking for the Sand Attack.
But before it comes, another figure comes sauntering down to the ring with an evil smirk. You guessed it, Kevin Hardaway! He climbs up on the apron, daring Sean to come for him – and Sean obliges. KHard drops back to ringside with a split-second to spare and the mics pick up a sarcastic “Ooh, too slow.” Then his eyes flicker for a moment to Evangelista, whom he evidently expects to take advantage of this distraction. But she shakes her head and backs off. Hardaway, unsurprisingly, seems disappointed in this development.
Suddenly Evangelista is pulled through the ropes and swung into the guardrail by Arcadia Chavez! As the deranged, demonic Chavez starts unloading on Evangelista, Sands instinctively turns to go and help – which is all the opening Hardaway needs to slide into the ring and attack him! He boots Sean in the gut and quickly plants him with The End of Heartache. While Arcadia Chavez whispers to her headless Laurel Anne Hardy doll and cradles Evangelista’s battered body at ringside, Kevin Hardaway pats Sean Sands on the cheek a couple of times then stands and poses over the downed GFC World Champion, grinning at the crowd’s hate.
WINNER: No contest!
