The bell rings and Lasiewicz is taking it to Jones straight away. Jones gets some shots in and nails Lasiewicz with chops. Jones clotheslines Lasie over the top rope and follows him to the outside. Irish whip into the barricade but Lasiewicz gets his foot up and blocks. Andreas smashes Jones’ head into the railing and rolls him back into the ring, going for a pin but only getting a one count.

Lasiewicz has control now. Spinning back elbow to Jones gets a two count. Jones catches a kick and gets a big boot of his own. BIG vertical suplex from Jones for two. Chops in the corner by Alex. Lasiewicz eventually turns it around. In the opposite corner, he flips over AJ for a sunset flip! 1…2…no! Alex sends Lasiewicz to the apron! Big dropkick to the floor! AJ looks like he’s going to go for a suicide dive but Lasie is up and Jones thinks better of it, spinning himself back into the ring where he waits for the GDW Champion.

Lasiewicz back in. Very unique arm and headlock from Jones before he starts to choke Lasiewicz. Breaks at 3. Backdrop suplex for two on Lasiewicz. AJ-guri from Jones! No cover, he just stalks his opponent and waits for him to get back to his feet. He goes for a flying forearm but Lasiewicz moves out of the way. Jones runs and flips off the top rope, but Lasiewicz moves. Spinning lariat from Lasiewicz! Spinebuster! 1…2…no!!

He pulls Jones back to his feet and looks for a suplex, but AJ pushes him away and connects with a series of quick kicks and then a hiptoss, jumping fist drop, nip-up, STIFF kick to Lasiewizc’s back… that’s the Xtreme Combo and it got Jones a two count. He waits for Andreas to get back to his feet again, springboard dropkick takes him back down. He looks for a top rope elbow drop but the GDW Champ rolls out of the way and Jones lands hard on his arm. Lasiewicz moves quickly to lock in an armbar submission hold!

Jones smashes his fist on the canvas, writhing in pain. But he’s not giving up, despite how many times referee Ed Watling is asking him. He’s reaching out with his free arm, trying to get to the ropes, which are agonisingly just out of reach. Lasiewicz seems to lean back even more, putting even more pressure on the joints of Alex Jones. Jones manages to roll onto his side, getting up to a knee with Lasiewicz still holding on to his arm. Jones then kicks Lasie several times and manages to break the hold. AJ knows how to get out of those kinds of holds, having been using the AJ-Lock himself for years now.

Jones grabs Andreas and takes him over with a suplex, floating over into a pin but only getting a one count. Jones pulls Lasiewicz up and whips him into the corner, following in with a splash, getting his knees up into the chest and then monkey flipping Lasie out of the corner. He heads to the top and connects with the Spiral Tap! Cover, 1…2… NO! Lasiewicz kicks out!

AJ believes he should have had the match won there and is slapping the mat as a sign that Ed Watling should have counted quicker. He gets up and turns around… to be met by The Peacemaker (High Angle Super Kick)!! Lasiewicz grabs Jones, Unforgettable Fire (Argentine Backbreaker into Falling Reverse DDT)!! Cover… 1… 2… 3!!

Your winner, Andreas Lasiewicz!

Well that was one heck of a match, great action from both men but in the end it’s Andreas Lasiewicz that walks out as the winner.
