FRONTIER steamrollered it’s way into the Welsh capitol on Easter Sunday with a special bumper show, including some special guest stars and a new member of staff!

Apologies for the belated roundup of this show, it’s been a busy Easter break for all the FRONTIER staff, but now we’re back in the office as we roll towards the arrival of WARPED in Liverpool in two weeks!!

But before we kick things off with some frantic 6-person tag action, let’s go back to earlier this evening when Best of British got a call from the boss!

—VIDEO—

Looking into the locker room, we see the Best of British gearing up for their match later in the evening. Rupert finishes with the final lace on his boot, setting it onto the floor and looking up at Nigel.

Rupert: Someone’s coming in.

Nigel looks up as well, where both men are met with a member of FRONTIER’s crew. He is holding out a cell phone.

Crew: You have a call.

As Nigel is handed the phone, the voice coming from the speaker startles all three men.

Madman: YO!

Nigel: …hey…

Madman: It’s Madman. I couldn’t be there tonight, so this is the best thing. Can you hear me?

Rupert & Nigel: Yes, sir…

Madman: Madman’s fine. Look, I know I made that announcement about finding a team to compete for the GFC Tag Team belts and get them the hell off Chander and Jon. I just wanted you two to know something.

Nigel and Rupert look at each other.

Madman: We’re not overlooking you. We don’t need to form a team if we already have one. Keep your noses clean and prove to us you’re not going to make the same mistakes that they did. And I’ll see to it your names get mentioned when it’s time to make our final selection. Okay?

BoB nod at each other.

Madman: Ight, put me back on with old boy…

Nigel hands the phone back to the member of crew, who walks away and starts a conversation with Madman as the locker room door closes.

Best of British & Laurel Anne Hardy vs. Frank Wiland & The Filth

Before our first match, Laurel Anne Hardy cuts a quick promo in Welsh – a VERY quick promo – thanking the fans for turning out, and promising a night of great action. She also slips in a crack about how much of the roster seems to want a piece of her, literally in Arcadia Chavez’s case, which raises a laugh. Her teammates tonight, Nigel Kensington and Rupert Royston-Fellowes, are making a great show of interacting with the fans too; The Filth don’t seem to give a damn about the massive boos they receive.

There’s a lot of jawing before the match starts – Best of British and Frank Wiland still both holding a lot of animosity towards each other, and Wiland and Hardy’s issues with each other don’t seem to have cooled at all. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Laurel and Rupert seem less than thrilled about teaming together. Nigel and the referee are trying to settle things down before the bell; Nigel mutters something to Rupert, then reminds Laurel she can’t dick around since she has to get to London for more matches later tonight. Rupert and Laurel both back down; The Filth promptly mock them, but as soon as the bell rings, Laurel is all over the masked Darrix with knees, kicks and elbows.

She has him backed into a corner before long. She turns and smiles sarcastically at Frank before dropping Darrix with a double knee facebeaker. She covers, still staring at Wiland, but Darrix powers out on the one count. The two trade back and forth for a while; as Darrix powers Hardy against the ropes, Sterling Everett strikes her in the spine making her stumble. Darrix snaps off a quick headscissor takedown and tags out.

Frank directs Sterling as he batters Laurel with heavy throws and slams. A flipping enzuigiri stuns him long enough to give Laurel a break to dive and tag in Nigel – but Frank yanks Nigel off the apron before the tag can be made! Rupert and Nigel get on Frank’s case, and it seems like it’s about to kick off at ringside… and as the referee moves to break that up, Sterling punishes Hardy with a low blow. He tosses her into the ropes – so hard she flips right over them and crashes to ringside!

He gives chase, and whips her into the guardrail. Then he charges in after her looking for a kick, but she grabs his leg and crotches him over the railing! She starts slamming elbows into his face as hard and as fast as she can, leaving him dazed and reeling. But she’s attacked from behind by Darrix, and it isn’t long before Frank gets in on it too. All three members of The Filth are soon stomping Laurel on the floor of the arena.

At first Rupert doesn’t seem terribly bothered by the three-on-one beatdown happening at ringside, but Nigel whispers something to him and they hop down to get involved. Rupert makes a beeline for Frank, his longtime rival. Nigel meanwhile starts brawling with Sterling, while Laurel and Darrix roll around slamming each other into anything hard they can fine. It’s complete chaos, and none of the competitors even seem to notice as the referee calls for the bell to declare the match a double countout!

Security breaks up the fighting and separates the two teams. Nigel reminds Laurel about her engagements elsewhere later tonight and she backs away, but never takes her eyes off Frank and his smug smirk. He makes a comment about her running away and she starts to head back to him, but her brother Matty Graves appears and persuades her to let it go for tonight. While all of this is going on, Rupert and Nigel are trading aggro with The Filth, and it’s some time before things have calmed down enough for us to move on with the show.

This contest has been ruled a double countout!

A disappointing result, with no winner declared, but one hell of a battle to open things here in Cardiff! And Rupert and Nigel standing up for their partner tonight, a sure fire way to prove themselves to the management. Could these guys really have changed so much that now they’ll take on fights for others in FRONTIER?

Next up it’s Xristus, who’s on a bit of a roll here in FRONTIER. He goes one-on-one with Orlando Ocean!

Xristus vs. Orlando Ocean

Being equal in size neither man was able to straight up out power the other. Something two near 300 ponders would be able to do in almost any other match, but this time the faced each other and neither man was going to gain an advantage that way. Ocean turned to his relentless brawling tactics  to try keeping Xristus down with uppercuts, kicks, and  well placed knees. However, Xristus was having none of it and after a sudden spear Xristus lifted Ocean up in the Golgotha (Tara’s Widow’s Peak/Gory Neckbreaker). Xristus smirked as he passed over going for the pin in order to lock in the Via Dolorosa (Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate/Adapted Gogoplata) submission. The referee soon rings the bell and raises Xristus in victory.

Your winner, Xristus!!!

Xristus isn’t interested in celebrating tonight as he jerks his arm away from the referee, chastising him for touching Xristus. He turns back to Orlando Ocean who is sstruggling to make his way back to his feet. Xristushelps him, but only to hit him with another Golgotha (Tara’s Widow’s Peak/Gory Neckbreaker). Several referees and officials came running down to stop the uncalled for post match attack from going further.

Like him or not Xristus attempt to burn FRONTIER down and start anew has started out well. A convincing win over Ocean will put Xristus right back in the hunt. Seems he is learning a thing or two from his new friendship with Angelica Jones, and thats just scary for everyone.

Time to take a look at another video as we catch up with the former GFC Commonwealth Champion, Summer Collins…

—VIDEO—

“Do I really have to do this, Summer?”

“Yes, you do! And that’s Ms. Collins to you!”

“Yes, Ms. Collins…”

(Janice King, dressed in her black and red cheerleader uniform, is standing by in the back with Summer Collins.)

Janice: Hi guys! I’m, like, totally psyched to be here with the really cool and really awesome wrestler that we all idolize! Our hero and, like, for sure the next GFC Commonwealth Champion! The woman with a body that makes men drool and makes women green with envy! The sexy adorable goddess herself, Summer Collins!

(Collins grins from ear to ear, pleased with the introduction.)

Summer: Thank you, Janice. That was such a nice introduction and so very deserved.

Janice: After you, like, totally trash and bash that, total skank Evangelista, what are you gonna do?

Summer: I guess usually folks like to say they’re going to Disney World but I own theme parks greater than Disney World. I might just throw a great big party for my closest of friends.

(She pats Janice on the head.)

Summer: I might even invite you. How’s that sound?

Janice: TOTALLY RAD!

(Suddenly Crystal Swift comes rushing in, wearing her yellow cheerleading outfit. She shoves a pen and a picture of Summer at Summer.)

Crystal: SUMMER! You are my favorite wrestler! I want to be just like you someday!

Summer: Of course you do, sweetheart.

Crystal: May I have your autograph?

Summer: Absolutely.

(Summer signs her name to the picture. She then hands it back to Crystal and turns back to face the camera.)

Summer: See Evangelista? I am beloved. The world loves me and after I reclaim my GFC Commonwealth Championship and bring light back into this dismal company, the world will love me even more. Right girls?

Janice and Crystal: EVANGELISTA IS GONNA LOSE! EVANGELISTA’S BREATH SMELLL LIKE BOOZE! EVANGELISTA IS GONNA LOSE! GOOOOOO SUMMER!

—/VIDEO—

Does Collins have what it takes to regain the title from Evangelista here tonight? Time will tell, and Evangelista better be on the lookout for Summer’s cheerleaders, they could become an important X factor in the match.

This next match pits one of the key figures of 220 Wrestling against one of his employees as Heath Sommersby crosses the Atlantic specifically to face Jason Richards on non-220 turf.

Heath Sommersby vs. Jason Richards

This one starts with a lot of talk as the two men shout across the ring at each other before finally hooking up in a test of strength, which the South African Sommersby wins. But The American Wolf goes straight back in and wins a second test of strength, pushing Sommersby back into a corner and connecting with several hard chops. But Sommersby gets in a cheeky eye poke that the referee misses and that gives him an opening. Hip toss, pin attempt gets only a one count. Scoop slam, pin attempt gets another one. Leg drop, another one count. Suplex, a two count this time. Dropkick to the legs, another two count.

Richards rolls out to the apron, catching a break as Sommersby looks on and smiles at him. Some quick pin attempts; not really trying to win the match this early, but a great tactic for wearing down your opponent, and Richards realised what was happening and got the hell out of there.

Sommersby backs of and allows Richards to get back into the ring. Richards moves quickly to spin out of a collar and elbow lock up and suddenly is behind Sommersby with his arms around him. German suplex! That came out of nowhere! He pulls Heath back to his feet… LARIAT!! Cover, two count only. Massive lariat from The American Wolf, but not enough to put Heavy Metal away.

Sommersby strikes back with some big open hand strikes, rocking Richards back into the ropes, where Heath tries to choke him with the rope. The referee demands him to release the hold, which he eventually does but only when the referee counts to four. Richards is gasping for breath and Sommersby takes advantage. Swinging neckbreaker, and another pin, 1…2… Kickout from Richards.

Sommersby using some of his old school tactics here tonight, but the truth of the matter is that there is a lot of respect between these two men. Heath is just giving it his all to win this match. And as he nails an Exploder suplex there are many in Cardiff who think he’s done just that, but Richards is out again at two. In fact that gives Richards a boost, as he retaliates with an Exploder of his own. But Richards takes it a step further, heading to the top and connecting with a massive Frog Splash! 1…2… Kickout from Sommersby!

Richards feels aggrieved not to have gotten the three, giving his boss the chance to get up to his knee. Richards turns to Sommersby… Pele kick!! Richards is down and Sommersby moves quickly to lock in The Seven Wonders of Sommersby (modified STF)… but Richards is smart enough to be in the ropes before the move can be locked in. Sommersby trying to go old school on The American Wolf, but Richards knows enough to avoid that particular move!

Sommersby laughs as he steps away, ruing his missed opportunity. Richards smiles across the ring at him, before charging in with a lariat! He grabs Sommersby… Emerald City Driver? No, Sommersby escapes, just. Superkick from Richards! Sommersby crashes backwards into the corner. Flying forearm smash in the corner and Sommersby is rocked. Emerald City Driver? No, Sommersby escapes with a back-body drop this time. Saito Suplex from Richards! Cover… 1…2… Kickout from Sommersby!

The 220 boss is up to his feet, but is staggering about the place. Richards spots an opportunity for a lariat as he bounces off the ropes… to be met by a Slamdance (Running High Knee Lift) from Sommersby! He pulls Richards up, although you can tell that Sommersby’s knee is hurting after that move. He hoists Richards up onto his shoulders. BACKSTAGE PASS (GTS)!!! Cover, 1…2…3!!!

Your winner, Heath Sommersby!

Cracking match from the 220 guys, with the veteran Sommersby coming out on top of a hard fought victory! And if that’s whetted your appetite, make sure you check out Second to None Wrestling!

Our next match includes two more FRONTIER debuts. One for Simon Jones, a guest star for this show. Jones is from Birmingham, making this an all-English affair in the Welsh capital. The second debut is for a referee! Our sister promotion in FRONTLINE has had to release some staff members as a cost cutting exercise and Madman Szalinski offered Tiger Ref the opportunity to come and make a fresh start in the UK.

FRONTIER’s newest referee used to be known as Tiger Kid and was part of the famous War Tigers group. Due to these allegiances the man in the black and white mask was not allowed to officiate any match the Tigers competed in. And that, unfortunately, led to him being the first man out of the door in the FRONTLINE re-shuffle. But, we’re glad to be able to welcome him into the FRONTIER family, I’m sure he’ll fit right in.

Julia Braddock vs. Simon Jones

The bell rings as Tiger Ref gets things under way with Braddock and Jones locking up. Jones tries to get the upper hand and connect with some big blows, but Julia shows some nous in being able to dodge and duck while looking for a chance to transition into an early choke hold. They both maintain their hold on each other until the two fall through the ropes and onto the floor. Braddock takes it to Jones on the floor. Jones gets some shots in and nails Braddock with a European uppercut. Irish whip into the barricade but Braddock gets her foot up as Simon charges in afterwards! That rocks the Brummie! Tiger Ref steps in, not afraid to get in between the two competitors.

They get back in the ring, Braddock gains control. Reverse DDT  to Jones gets a two count. Jones catches a kick and gets a big kick into the gut of his opponent. Nice vertical suplex from Jones for two. Chops in the corner by Simon. Braddock eventually turns it around. In the opposite corner, she flips over Jones for a sunset flip! 1…2…no! Simon sends Braddock to the apron! Big dropkick to the floor! Braddock rolls back in, only to be met by a sliding kick from Jones! 1…2….kickout from Braddock.

Headlock from Simon. Backdrop suplex for two on Braddock. Tornado DDT from Jones! But no pin attempt. Jones stalks in the corner. He goes for a Forearm smash but Braddock ducks out of the way. Dragon Screw leg whip

from Braddock! Jones pops back up. Headlock takedown from Braddock, holding onto the hold and into a pin! 1…2…no!! Braddock goes up top but Jones cuts her off. FISHERMAN SUPER-PLEX!!! 1…2… KICKOUT FROM BRADDOCK!!

Julia Braddock is still in this match, somehow shaking off that hellacious suplex. Jones can’t believe he didn’t get the win with that improvised move. Braddock is back up and tries to take advantage of Jones’ surprise. Jones tries for the Back to the Future (cutter) but Braddock reverses into a reverse DDT. She then drops an elbow, and then a second. She looks out to the crowd, curtsies, and then nails a third elbow drop! A cover only gets two!

Jones is back up, ducks a clothesline and grabs Braddock in a sleeper. Braddock is quick to jump, gets her feet onto the ropes and pushes off, flipping out of the hold, over the head of her opponent and connecting with a neckbreaker!! Another cover… 1… 2… No, kickout by Jones!

Braddock heads to the ropes again, but Jones leaps up and cuts her off… again! INTO OBLIVION (middle rope Styles Clash)!!!! Cover, 1…2…3!!!

Your winner, Simon Jones!!

A big win for Jones as he makes his first ever FRONTIER appearance, defeating the ever impressive Braddock. That girl really lives up to the family name but it was Jones, who calls this city home, who walks out of Cardiff with the win. It’s been good to have Jones around FRONTIER tonight, I hope he’ll pay us another visit someday.

Time now to get to another big match up. A hotly anticipated encounter between two men who have both made it very clear that they want to be the one to topple Chandler Scott – unless CJ Osborne does it later tonight, of course!

Michael Hopkins vs. Graham Clauson

The fans give Graham Clauson a great reception on his return to FRONTIER and he takes the time to acknowledge it, having a good time with the audience while he slowly makes his way to the ring. But the reception Michael Hopkins gets almost blows the roof off as the Cardiff crowd go insane for their hometown boy! He’s perhaps more fired up than we’ve ever seen him, and seems barely able to contain his energy.

Lo and behold, as the bell rings, Michael explodes into action with huge offence – getting the drop on Graham with a dropkick and then snapping off a whole bunch of powerful throws and suplexes to take early control. Graham is left reeling and woozy, and Michael spins round and slams the ground with his fist. The crowd know what’s coming, and they cheer for it – superman punch! Clauson rolls over and over, and slowly pushes himself to his knees. Hopkins raises a fist and calls out, “LET’S PLAY FOOTBALL…” …and the fans finish off the line for him: “BITCH!” He unleashes kicks to the chest and back, then connects with a hard roundhouse.

Michael jumps up on the ropes and shouts a challenge to Chandler Scott to a huge pop, and does that old favourite of wrestling gestures, the belt-around-the-waist. Then he drops down and jogs back over to Graham… who kips up and rolls into a koppo kick! He kips right back up again, then stumbles back into the corner to catch his breath.

After a moment’s recovery, the two men meet in the centre of the ring again and start trading holds and reversals, each looking for leverage. They go back and forth with an impressive technical display, neither able to take a definitive advantage – until Graham, after a standing switch to reverse a rear waistlock, leaps up onto Michael’s shoulders and rolls him backwards into a reverse huracanrana for the first pin attempt of the match! One… two… reversal from Michael! One… two… kickout! They both jump up, and Graham immediately flips Michael off his feet with a Japanese armdrag into a standing moonsault. Another cover attempt – one… two… kickout!

The two men stand toe-to-toe and exchange blows, the crowd buzzing with boos every time Clauson connects, and bellowing cheers each time Hopkins makes contact. Eventually Hopkins gains the upper hand, ducking a swing from Clauson and grabbing him from behind, looking for a German. LUDOVICO TECHNIQUE (Snapmare Driver) FROM CLAUSON!!! Cover, 1…2…3!!!

Your winner, Graham Clauson!!!

What a contest, and what a way to win it out of nowhere! After the bell sounds and the crowd settle down Hopkins stands in front of Clauson and offers him his hand, which Clauson accepts. Real class act from both men here tonight. Hopkins leaves the ring, signing autographs and spending time with fans at ringside while Clauson celebrates in the ring. He makes a belt motion around his waist, indicating just what he wants next!

Before our next contest, we had an update on the Dirty Dozen situation from their boss, Tim Worthington.

—VIDEO—

Tim Worthington is stood in the middle of the ring, surrounded by every member of the Dirty Dozen. He is wearing his usual light grey suit and already has a microphone in hand as he looks out at the crowd, who are still cheering the groups arrival.

TW- For weeks now we’ve been embroiled in a bitter battle over the legality of our contract. I don’t know who it was who took exception to the twelve of us being here in FRONTIER, but I’m not going to go away quietly and let them win this.

There is a cheer from the crowd.

TW- Unfortunately I can’t say the same for everyone stood here beside me.These people have families, loved ones who depend on the income this contract was meant to give them. Without being paid for so long, unfortunately the Dirty Dozen will reduce in numbers.

The crowd boo, having not had a chance to see all of the Dozen in action.

TW- So, tonight we bid farewell to Akio Kuriyama, Aleksandr Konstantin, Envy, Yana Gradlienko and Blood Tiger II.

Each of those mentioned step forward and take a cheer from the crowd, who end up with a “please come back” chant.

TW- For now, we’re down to seven. Seven men and women who are refusing to give up the fight. I can’t tell you when you will see us back in a FRONTIER ring, but it WILL happen.

Another cheer from the crowd.

TW- And until that day comes, I will be here in this ring at EVERY show. I will hound management until they are sick of me. I will be there, at their door, at every available opportunity. I am not going to let this go. And, by god, I’m going to find out which arsehole did this to the Dirty Dozen. And once I do, the seven of us will have a few words for that person. In fact, what better way to gain a measure of revenge than by facing that person right here in a FRONTIER ring?

The crowd seem to like that idea.

TW- If the person responsible has any balls, they can come and admit to it, face to face, right here in two weeks!

—/VIDEO—

It’s an interesting situation, this D12 business, and I’m not entirely sure what’s happening with the legal stuff. Heck, even if I knew I wouldn’t be allowed to tell you all. But I guess Tim will keep us in the loop. I am sad that we never got to see Kuriyama in a FRONTIER ring, though.

But, let’s not feel down, we have the first of our two massive title matches up next as Summer Collins aims to regain the belt that Evangelista won from her not too long ago!

Evangelista (c) vs. Summer Collins [GFC Commonwealth Championship]

From the time “No Good Advice” began playing to the time Evangelista got in the ring, the fans did not cease cheering. But from the time “Burn In My Light” played up to and after the referee’s instructions and opening bell, they would not stop booing…or eventually chanting whatever they could think of.

Eva did little more than slap some hands on the way down and run the ropes a few times when she got there, save holding the GFC Commonwealth belt high above her head before handing to the referee. Summer, meanwhile, spent half of her time coming down to the ring between coaching Crystal and Janice to jump, cheer, and cartwheel and dodging the fans’ boos and hisses. With her cheerleader cohorts at ringside, Summer stands in the ring alone with Evangelista, the clock counting down in the first round.

“ASHLEY TIS-DALE!” *clap clap clapclapclap*

“ASHLEY TIS-DALE!” *clap clap clapclapclap*

The two women finally lock up, stepping around the ring. Summer shoves Evangelista down to the mat, and the crowd boos when she hits her backside. Leanne doesn’t stay down for long, and they tie up once again. Eva tries to step around the legs, but Summer gets through and hits her with a hiptoss. This Welsh crowd is pouring the heat down on Miss Collins tonight!

“YOU’RE STILL RATCHET!” *clap clap clapclapclap*

“YOU’RE STILL RATCHET!” *clap clap clapclapclap*

What did these fans smoke at the last intermission? Summer doesn’t turn to the fans…but to Janice and Crystal! She’s commanding them to start cheering for her! Eva is right back to her feet, waiting for her moment to strike…Janice and Crystal are shaking their heads…Summer turns around and catches her waiting, they lock horns one more time…Eva with an arm wringer, Summer gets around her for a German…and Eva almost takes a pinfall in the first round, but she rolled herself out of it! Meanwhile, Janice and Crystal are starting a cheer for the former GFC Commonwealth Champion, and the fans are showing “appreciation” in their own way.

“KICK HER FACE! KICK HER FACE!”

Eva rushes Summer, rolling around her, going for a chop block that Summer leapfrogs. The champ hits the ropes, but the challenger lays down low to avoid her. It’s Eva’s turn to leapfrog, but she instead goes for a standing moonsault to the face-down Summer Collins. Summer rolls out of the way, Eva lands on her feet! Summer scrambles to the ropes, runs back…Eva with a high flapjack into the air…armdrag by Summer! Back up…another one! Here they go again…no, Eva with one of her own! And now she gets a second armdrag! One more time! Summer blocks the third one, Eva blocks the third one…a knee to the champ’s gut! Hiptoss…Eva on her feet, she gets out of it, rear waistlock…Summer kicks her feet up…they both go into the corner! Eva backs out…Summer shoves her back further! AND EVANGELISTA LIT HER CHEST ON FIRE WITH THAT OPEN HAND! The rage in Summer’s eyes…but she stays in the corner, holding her chest, as the bell is rang to end the first round. Summer demands a chair be brought in for her to sit on, while Eva goes to her corner and merely sits on the top turnbuckle.

Beginning the second round, the pace is slowed considerably when Summer baits Eva into attempting a monkey flip when she charges in, catching her legs. Eva gets back to one foot, and Summer throws a left kick. Eva grabs the foot, and Summer hits an enzigiri to the left shoulder! Rememeber that slowed pace I mentioned earlier? The rest of round two was Summer working Eva’s arm, using a Fujuwara armbar to hold Eva flat onto the canvas and then doing everything from laying somersault sentons onto it, to bringing Eva onto her feet and slamming a lifted leg back down on it, sittiing her weight across the arm and shoulder. The round ended with Summer clutching Eva with the left arm around her neck, pulling from behind with Eva laying on the canvas. The reluctant but still helpful cheerleading consort of the champion’s challenger is right there with Summer’s chair (and a drink) while the fans are all too happy to give Summer a few boos as she talks trash in Eva’s direction.

Sore, but determined, Eva and her hurting arm still come in all ready to go. Summer lands one high kick to the left shoulder, and Eva almost drops. Summer goes for a gutwrench type hold, but Eva gets her legs up, wraps around the head and brings Summer Collins over with a hurricanrana! Summer slides out of the ring! She thinks she’s getting more water! Summer snatches the water bottle from Crystal and splashes it everywhere! TOPE CON HILO! EVANGELISTA TAKES SUMMER OUT! Crystal barely got out of the way in time, but I think Eva is just as hurt from that as Summer was! Maybe she hit that shoulder on the railing…

Sal Mancini starts the twenty-count, but it’s only at two. It hit ten and Summer was up, but Evangelista was not. Summer drags Evangelista up and into the ring, ending the count at fourteen. Summer rolls into the ring herself, reaching down at Eva who has gotten her hands on Summer’s boots. She then grabs Eva’s left arm, and rolls her over into an omoplata crossface.

Summer clenches the hold on tightly, pulling back at Evangelista. The bell ends the round, but Evangelista is drained after twenty-four seconds in the hold. The crowd was on fire, and even at this point is still cheering for her as she drags herself up to her feet. Summer sits in the corner while being attended to, yelling insults the entire time such as “that’s what you have for a Commonwealth champion, people!” and “boo because you know I’m right!”

Round four begins with a groggy Eva being shoved back into the corner, where she remains. Summer decides to lay a couple of elbows into her, then seat her onto the top turnbuckle. Summer steps back a bit, runs at an angle, jumps to the left rope, a counter-clockwise spinning springboard…into a HURRICANRANA! OFF THE TOP! But Eva held on! Sunset flip pin! Eva gets to her feet! Eva picks her up off the mat! Only a few inches, did her shoulder give out or did she mean to? Either way, she turned it into a Texas cloverleaf with ease! The crowd is loving this! But Summer has a hand on the ropes! This one isn’t over yet!

The two women are back up. Evangelista swings for Collins, who ducks and grabs the Champ. She’s set for the Stock Market Crash (Rock Bottom)!! Wait, no, Evangelista has wrapped her leg around Summer’s, blocking the move. Elbow to the side of the head from Evangelista. HEADBREAKER (Modified Uranage Backbreaker)!!! A cover… 1…2…3!!!

Your winner, and STILL GFC Commonwealth Champion, Evangelista!!!

Wow, what a move that is. And from such a tight spot the Champ retains in a hard fought contest. And Evangelista remains the only person to have defeated Collins here in FRONTIER!

Well what better way to celebrate the fantastic wrestling we just witnessed… let’s have some more! Our second championship match of the night as Chandler Scott graces us with his presence to defend the GFC World Heavyweight Championship again CJ Osborne, majority owner of FRONTIER!!

Chandler Scott (c) vs. CJ Osborne [GFC World Heavyweight Championship]

This one on one meeting has been growing for months as the personal dislike for one another has risen to nearly unbearable levels. Now the employee and employer are going to take their frustrations out on the other in a way that can only be done inside the squared circle and still be legal. Has Chandler Scott finally bitten off more than he could chew or will he proof that he truly is the very best by besting the man who owns FRONTIER? Lets find out!

The two locked up in the middle of the ring and went no where. The Cardiff crowd popped in excitement as the two broke off and stared each other down before going in a second time. This one also saw neither man able to gain an advantage. Chandler came into the match with a slight seven pound weight advantage, CJ holds a three inch height advantage. In other words neither man had a clear cut advantage. In fact they mirror each other in size, speed, strength, and wrestling style. It’s actually quite scary how similar the two are who you look at it on paper.

The two tried for a third time to lock up, this time CJ Osborne ducking behind Chandler Scott at the last second. CJ nails forearm shots right into the middle of Chandlers back. He shoves the champion forward to give him room to land a dropkick to the back on Chandlers head. Staying on the offensive, CJ is right on top on Chandler with a head lock the moment he is on his feet. Chandler fights back and manages to shove CJ off. Chandler stays sharp and catches the owner with a belly to belly suplex. Chandler doesn’t waits for CJ to get up before delivering a jumping kneedrop. Scott tried an early pin, but CJ powered out before a second count could be made.

Chandler again tries to end it early, attempting a Harvard Hammer (Polish Hammer), but the move is ducked and Chandler is kicked in the gut. CJ throws Chandler off the ropes and hits him with a diving shoulder block. After an elbow drop CJ is the one making a failed pin attempt. Chandler stumbles out of the corner after a hard irish whip into the corner turnbuckle by CJ, followed up by an arm drag and scoop slam. He stays on the champion with several boots. In fact CJ has to be pushed back and admonished by senior referee, Andrew Woodford.

CJ irish whips Chandler again, but Chandler reverses this time. Chandler charges right behind CJ, sending him over the top rope and onto the floor with a hard clothesline. Woodford soon begins the ten count on CJ. He’s up to five before CJ is in place to climb back in the ring, but Chandler is there to hit a baseball slide right to CJ’s chest. Chandler goes after the challenger on the outside, but manages to find himself being thrown into the unforgiving steal of the ring steps for his trouble.

Woodford managed to get the two rivals back in the ring where Chandler Scott has taken control of the match and has CJ grounded with a sleeper hold. Fighting the hold, CJ begins to wear down and barely moving. The Cardiff crowd however remained behind CJ, hoping to help him rally back into the match. Just as it looked like he might be on the verge of passing out, CJ  makes a desperation move and drops down causing his head to ram into Chandlers jaw. Both champion and challenger are then laid out on the mat forcing Andrew Woodford to start a ten count.

At about the seven count both men are to their feet Chandler moves behind CJ and tries for another sleeper hold, but CJ is having none of it and nails a back elbow to the side of Chandlers head. Chandler stumbles around holding his head and right into a ring shaking vicious spinebuster. CJ stays on top of Chandler, hooking the leg for a pin attempt. Chandler kicks out, causing a few boos from the crowd. CJ reaches down and drags the Chandler to his feet. Chandler throws a wild punch and connects to the gut of CJ. Hooking his neck, Chandler wants to go for a DDT. However, CJ is having none of it and turns the move into a northern lights suplex. He floats over for another pin attempt, but Chandler is again out after 2.

CJ slaps his hands together claiming the referee gave a slow count. During this exchange Chandler is to his feet and grabs the Chandler by the shoulder, whipping him around. Chandler hits with a left, then a right, then another left into the face of the FRONTIER owner. Chandler sends CJ crashing into the corner turnbuckle, following behind with a mean corner clothesline that causes CJ to crumble to the mat. Chandler win a pin attempt, but CJ was too close to the ropes allowing him to break the pin without kicking out.

Both wrestlers are up! Chandler locks in a headlock before running forward and dropping Chandler to the mat with a running bulldog. CJ doesn’t stay down long, but Chandler remains on the offensive with a knee lift and another jumping knee drop. Chandler takes CJ’s leg and rolls him over to lock in a Boston Crab submission hold. The champion leans back to put as much pressure as he can, screaming at CJ to just give up. CJ looks for a way to reach for the ropes, but is stuck in the center of the ring. There is no way he can reach them to try and break this hold. With and crowd going wild, CJ uses his incredible strength to force his way out of the hold. Chandler fights it, trying to sit back further, but with incredible effort CJ manages to force Chandler off the hold. However, what damage might have already been done?

Clearly favoring his back, CJ get up to his feet with Chandler. Chandler charges at his challenger, but drops down to send the champion over in a back body drop that flips Chandler up and out of the ring. The crowd gasp and cheers as Chandler lands hard on the thinly padded floor. CJ goes to go out after him, but Woodford is there to tell him not to as he starts a count. Chandler uses the barricade to pull himself up, but CJ has grown inpatient and bounced off the far side of the ring to build up speed and vault himself over the top rope to take Chandler down and out once again. The crowd erupts once again at the sight of the nearly 250 pound CJ Osborne leaping over the top rope like that. Amazing pure athletic ability by the boss on that one.

Woodford is clearly not happy with CJ ignoring him when he was told to stay in the ring. He lets CJ know about it as well, but he doesn’t seem to care. He smirked and whipped Chandler into the ringside barricade. CJ followed that up with snap suplex to the floor before rolling into the ring and back out to break Woodford’s ten count. With Chandler to his feet, CJ takes the opportunity to introduce his face to the ringside announce table. The look in CJ’s eyes shows he’s enjoying seeing Chandler Scott trying to crawl away. CJ  jumps up and lands a double stomp right in the middle of Chandler back, causing him to scream out in pain while CJ once again broke the ten count.

Woodfords attempts to tell CJ to bring it back in the ring go ignored as CJ lifts Chandler over his head and drops him across the barricade. He catches Chandler to make sure he doesn’t bounce off. Once he’s satisfied that Chandler isn’t falling off, CJ climbs onto the apron. Woodford continues to plead with his boss the bring the match back in the ring. CJ responds by running and then leaping off the apron. He drops an elbow across Chandler’s back while he was still draped over the barricade. The crowd cheers, but not as much as it did before. This is not a side of CJ that the FRONTIER fans are used to seeing. He said he wanted to punish Chandler and right now, that is just what he is doing.

Much to Woodford’s pleasure, CJ finally rolls Chandler back in the ring. CJ climbs up to the top rope while Chandler uses the far ring ropes to pulls himself up. Once up CJ launches and lands a missile dropkick. He rolls over and hooks the leg!

Clearly not happy, CJ turns his attention to chastise Woodford for, what he feels like, a slow count. When CJ turned his attention back to Chandler Scott he was blindsided with the Valediction (Spinning Sitdown Powerbomb). Chandler makes the cover!

This time it’s Chandlers turn to question the counting ability of Andrew Woodford. Chandler goes after CJ, but is surprised by a small package.

KICKOUT!

Both men roll to their feet, both a little worse for the wear. Chandler is the right to strike when he nails CJ with a dropkick. Chandler follows up with a Knee Trembler as CJ tried to get up to a vertical base. He quickly rolls CJ over and makes the pin attempt!

ONE!

TWO!

KICKOUT!

Chandler smacks the mat in frustration! Neither man is willing to go down easily  in this one. Chandler pulls CJ up to his feet, but the challenger hit a sudden burst shoved chandler back a step and nailed a quick drop kick to Chandlers knee. CJ moved as quick as he could to wrap Chandler in a figure four leg lock. CJ tightens the hold as much as he could as Chandler tries to reverse the hold. Each time he would get close to flipping the hold over, CJ manage to block it.

The crowd in Cardiff were on their feet in anticipation of the crowning of a new champion. Chandler had given up on trying to roll the hold, and started stretching to the ropes. His fingers are just inches away. He makes one last attempt to reach the ropes and manages to get his hand on the bottom rope. Andrew Woodford is right there to call the break, but at this point CJ was only seeing red and didn’t break the hold. Woodford had no choice, but to call for the bell.

Your winner, and still GFC WOrld Heavyweight Champion, Chandler Scott!!!

Still CJ has the hold locked in on the champion. CJ screaming at him about making things personal. All of the referees have poured out of the back stage area to get CJ to release the hold before serious damage is done to the Chandler knee. After what felt like an eternity the hold was broken. Jason Richards, Evangalista, and several other of the FRONTIER wrestlers ran to the ring to insure peace as the medical staff checked on the champion.

Well that about wraps up one hell of a show here in Cardiff. Make sure you come to Liverpool in two weeks as WARPED Wrestling comes to town!
