So here it is, the first iPPV of 2013 and the first in our partnership with YouTube! Frontline promised to be one hell of a show, stacked from top to bottom with quality matches; including CarnEvil Conection versus the UK Dragons in a Chivalry is Dead match, Alex Jones takes on the new GDW Champion Andreas Lasiewicz and Gabe Gambino defends the GFC World Championship against Jay Pride. All this plus much more! So sit back, relax and check out all the action from last nights massive show from the Royal Albert Hall!
And we started the evening with a debut for Matt Kail in our pre-show. Kail goes one-on-one with Dave Spikey, The Betamax Kid!
Matt Kail vs. The Betamax Kid
Kail picks up Spikey and whips him into the corner. He goes for a forearm but Spikey rolls out and hits a hard right kick. He hits three more kicks but Kail stops that with a BIG dropkick. Spikey is sent into the corner. He brings his knees up but Kail catches them, spins Spikey around, so his legs are draped over the middle rope, and hits a hard chop and a thunderous kick. Kail finishes that with a Fisherman suplex from out of the corner.
Spikey is down. Kail tries to suplex Spikey back into the middle of the ring but Spikey blocks it and the two end up on the outside. Both men on the apron and Kail delivers some hard looking chops. Spikey back with three kicks but Kail with more chops. Spikey clotheslines Kail back into the ring. Kail flips back up and nails Spikey, taking him down to the floor of the Royal Albert Hall. Kail runs the ropes and goes to the air… connecting with London’s Pride (Suicide somersault dropkick)!! That was nasty! Kail throws Spikey back in and gets two.
Kail with some vicious elbow strikes and a chin lock as he thinks about what to do next. Spikey fights back with more kicks. Spikey hits a running knee that shakes up Kail. Spikey with a cutter and gets a two count. Great turnaround from the Betamax Kid!
Spikey heads up to the second turnbuckle. Kail grabs his leg and yanks him off, causing Spikey to hit his head on the way down. Matt Kail follows up with the Thank You, Pain (Running knee kick to the back of a seated opponents head) before heading to the top. He signals for something big… and connects with the Tumultuous Fall (Corkscrew shooting star press legdrop) for a pinfall victory!
Your winner, Matt Kail!
A great debut win for Matt Kail. His high flying style is sure to win over the FRONTIER faithful, and he’s off to a great start here tonight.
Now, next up is a Commonwealth Rules match between Madman Szalinski and another debutant, Sylar Drake. Szalinski won the Open House Battle Royal last month but shunned the GFC Championship shot that came with that win, instead he’s keen to work his way to the top. First rung on that ladder? That’ll be Sylar Drake, a man out to make a name for himself and hoping his new manager Lucius Togo can take him to the very top.
Madman Szalinski vs. Sylar Drake – Commonwealth Rules
Drake is already in the ring with Lucius Togo on the outside as Madman comes to the ring with Ariel Shadows in tow. Ariel is carrying a steel chair in her hands, holding it up for the fans to see. I guess that’s because Togo threatened Madman after the match earlier this week.
Both men are set in the ring now. Madman Szalinski offers his hand to Sylar Drake, who accepts. Nice to see the Code of Respect honoured here. They both head back to their corners while Jenni Starr runs through the rules for the fans here in London. And then Sal Mancini calls for the bell and we’re underway!
The two circle and hook up, Madman pushes Sylar into the ropes and Sal Mancini calls for the break. Madman steps back and slaps the holy hell out of Sylar Drake! Drake holds his jaw as Madman smiles at him. The two hook up again, this time Drake gets the upper hand and has Szalinski in the ropes. Again Mancini calls for the break. Drake this time goes for the slap, Madman ducks and slaps the taste right out of Drake’s mouth again! He looks over at Ariel and winks at her before turning his attentions back to his opponent. Drake moves quickly to connect with an enzuigiri and follows up with an ankle lock hold… but Madman is in the ropes.
Drake continues his speedy attack as he connects with a series of quick kicks and a jumping leg lariat, only getting a one from the resultant pin attempt. Madman fires back with a couple of chops and a DDT. Then a swinging neckbreaker. And a snap DDT. Looks like Szalinski is keeping his attentions on the head of Sylar Drake here as the first round comes to a close.
Both men head back to their respective corners. Lucius Togo hops up onto the ring apron and gives his client some advice while Ariel does the same with Madman, although she slides in her steel chair for Madman to sit on. Madman keeps staring across the ring at his opponent while Ariel holds up a water bottle for him, and a bucket to spit in. She wipes him with a towel and gives him some advice, all while Madman stares at Sylar. I swear it was like watching Rocky and Mickey seeing these two.
Bell sounds to start round two and the two men hook up again. Madman gets the upper hand after a jumping shin kick and locks in the Texas Cloverleaf. Sylar reaches out towards the ropes, with Lucius Togo in his line of sight cheering him on. He keeps reaching, stretching, trying to drag himself closer but he can’t get there. In the end he pushes himself up on his hands and begins to twist to the left, then changing quickly to twist to the right which sends Madman toppling over. Drake back to his feet after escaping that hold, but he’s holding his back a little. He charges at Szalinski who sees him coming and takes him down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! A cover, two count only.
Szalinski seems to have switched his focus to the back of Sylar Drake as he goes for a surfboard stretch, although he’s too close to the ropes and Mancini forces the break. Drake takes a moment to recover, ducks a clothesline and nails a superkick that turns the tide late in round two! He covers, but again it’s only a two count. He steps back and waits for Madman to get to his feet and then connects with a flying clothesline. He steps back again… Shining Wizard! He covers… two count only! And then the bell instantly sounds to end round two.
Both men back to their corners again, Ariel and Madman doing their Rocky routine again which seems to aggravate Sylar Drake. Madman makes a gesture like he’s going to break the back of Drake.
Sal Mancini calls for round three to start and both men come out and circle each other for a while. Drake charges with a lariat attempt but Szalinski catches the arm and drags him down into an cross armbar! He pulls back and puts a lot of pressure on the elbow and shoulder of the young British star, but while checking Drake to see if he’s going to tap Mancini doesn’t notice that Lucius Togo has put his leg up on the ropes. Technically getting outside help in a Commonwealth Rules match results in a DQ, but the referee didn’t see it so the match continues!
Drake shakes out his arm as he and Madman circle once more. Drake attacks once more as the two trade open handed blows, until Madman again catches the arm of Drake and drags him to the canvas with an armbreaker. He stomps on the arm a few times and transitions into a keylock. Again pressure on the arm of Sylar Drake, who is again struggling to reach the ropes. Eventually, realising Drake’s not going to tap, Madman releases the hold and drags his opponent back to his feet. He whips Drake into the ropes and looks for a hurricanrana, but Sylar drops down and powerbombs Szalinski to the canvas! He heads to the top and connects with a diving moonsault, cover, only two!
And then the bell sounds to end round three. There seems to be a pattern developing here. Madman takes control, Sylar fights back and gets a near fall only for the bell to sound before he can capitalise. Drake will be looking to come out all guns blazing in the fourth, I’m sure. Again Madman signals to Drake during the break, this time pointing at his arm and smashing it into his other hand, signalling his intent to go for the arm again. Not sure what to make of that, seeing as he’s been going for a different body part each round so far!
Round four begins and, as predicted, Sylar charges in quickly. Northern Lariat connects, as does a series of lightning quick kicks. He whips Madman into the ropes and flattens him with an Infinity Kick (Jumping Kenka Kick). He heads to the top rope, looking for the Divinity Dive (Springboard 450 Splash) but Madman is back to his feet. Madman runs to the corner, jumps up and takes Drake down with a hurricanrana from the top! He quickly drags Drake to his feet and pushes him back into the corner. He calls out to the crowd…”READY!””…before stepping back a few steps, assuming a brief three-point stance…””DOWN!””…and then charging in, screaming out with every rapid-fire elbow and forearm strike he throws…”HUT! HUT! HUT! HUT! HUT!”
Drake is rocked by those Tecmo Elbows and looks dazed. Madman spots an opportunity to take him down into the Deathtrap (Front guillotine w/ leg scissors) while singing out “What if God was one of us…” I don’t know why, I didn’t dare ask when I saw him after the show. What I do know is that Drake was in real trouble at this point, and not even Lucius Togo could help him reach the ropes. But Sylar’s not the kind to give up easily, and so refused to tap out. Madman realised this too as he released his hold on his opponent.
Sylar gets back to his feet and charges in with another Lariat attempt, and connects. Madman pops back up but Sylar connects again. Szalinski up once more and Drake tries the move a third time… but walks right into a SCOOPSTONE (A scoop slam into a Tombstone piledriver)! Szalinski falls backwards to his corner and leans against the ropes as he watches Sal Mancini count over the fallen Sylar Drake. There’s only 10 seconds left in the round at this point and it takes until Mancini’s at the count of seven for Drake to begin to move… by 9 he’s at a knee… and then he stumbles back down and he’s counted out!
Your winner, by way of knockout, Madman Szalinski!
A fourth round KO from Madman Szalinski against a tough opponent in Sylar Drake. Drake looked good on his debut, but Szalinski had a little more in him and comes away with an all important win. Will he continue his march towards Gabe Gambino? Who knows. I can’t wait to find out, that’s for sure.
Now before we get onto our next show, we had a visitor at ringside who had some words for the FRONTIER fans.
— VIDEO —
The crowd is getting restless from a break in the action as suddenly the music begins to play throughout the sound system. Jason Richards appears at the top of the entrance way looking out over the crowd slowly with an intense look on his face. He begins making his way down to the ring wasting no time as he walks up the steps and steps through the ropes. He walks over requesting a microphone as he motions for it Jenni Starr walks over handing it to him. He walks to the middle of the ring and looks right in to the camera. He begins speaking as everyone is trying to make sense of why he is out here at this point in time.
“I have been back there and while the show has been great all around I feel like something has to be said here and I feel like I am the perfect man to say it. This is my first trip to England and while I want to thank Pro Wrestling FRONTIER for this opportunity; at the end of the day I am here to be the best. Things are going to start changing around here and with change there is always something new on the horizon so call this boasting call it being cocky call it whatever you like. I am putting this entire company on notice you are looking at the future GFC world champion Gabriel Gambino if you have something you would like to say about that I will be here all night and I am not a hard man to find. American Strong Style has come across the pond and it has your title in its cross hairs and I am the man that is going to pull the trigger.”
The crowd goes in to mixed reactions as he walks over handing the microphone back to Jenni Starr as he walks over stepping through the ropes jumping down off the apron. He walks back up the entrance way and steps back through the curtain.
There’s then the sound of a ruckus on the other side of the curtain and Richards comes flying back out, falling to the floor. He’s followed by four men, all unfamiliar to most, although some of the fans here at the Royal Albert Hall seemed to know who they were as they roundly booed them.
The four men dragged Richards to the ring, tossing him in. One of the men, a black man in a black and red mask, pulls Richards up while another man, an oriental looking guy with a black Mohawk and black eye makeup, reigns in some big shots to the gut of Richards. The other two men, another oriental looking guy and a massive guy in a big red mask, look on laughing. Richards gets tossed to the biggest of the four men and he flattens the newcomer with a horrific looking Iron Claw Slam!
The black man gets a microphone from a terrified looking Jenni Starr and begins to address the London crowd in an American accent.
??: “Ladies and Gentlemen, we are Blood Circle. I am the Black Dragon, alongside Yoshi Ojima, Takeshi Genji and the beast that is OMEGA.”
OMEGA roars loudly as the crowd boo the four men.
Dragon: “We were sent here by our leader, Kazuki Suzuki, to make a statement to you and your pathetic little show here tonight. You call this Frontline? I tell you what, come next month you’ll know what a real FRONTLINE looks like.”
Before Dragon can continue with what he’s saying they are joined at ringside by Adam Stryker, Sylar Drake and Lucius Togo. The three men storm the ring to help their new friend and begin to get the upper hand. But soon the numbers game means they too are being beaten down.
And then another person comes storming out from the back. Kenta Yamashita sprints to the ring and slides in, instantly clotheslining Ojima and Genji over the top rope. He turns to Black Dragon and connects with a Yakuza Kick. OMEGA is being pounded by Stryker and Drake, and soon rolls out of the ring. Blood Circle begin to walk away, Togo is checking on Richards while Yamashita grabs a microphone.
Yamashita: “So the great Kazuki Suzuki himself is too afraid to come to London? Suzuki shows these warriors no respect and I cannot sit by and watch you do this to them. So, FRONTLINE launches next month? Then I will be there. And March 30th, Korakuen Hall, Blood Circle will bring their three most fearless warriors to face their reckoning. Stryker, Richards and I will show you the true meaning of being a WARRIOR!”
Kenta passes the microphone to Stryker.
Stryker: “GO STRONG… OR GO HOME!”
He tosses the mic down as Blood Circle back away, leaving Yamashita, Stryker, Richards, Drake and Togo standing tall in the ring.

Wow, I was not expecting that! The Blood Circle group from Japan appearing here at Frontline, claiming rights to the name. Pro-Wrestling FRONTLINE is FRONTIER’s sister promotion in the land of the rising son and they open up next month with a series of shows leading up to that March 30th date Yamashita mentioned.
Anyway, onwards we go here on Frontline as we return to FRONTIER action. Alex Jones had been parading around with a fake GFC Championship since he beat Gambino in a non-title match, that was until he lost to Jay Pride a couple of weeks ago. Jones has been demanding a shot at Gambino, but instead has been forced into doing battle with Gabe’s GoW partner, Andreas Lasiewicz. But this is a Lasiewicz who recently won the GDW Championship. Can Jones continue his march towards Gambino? Or will Lasiewicz stand firmly in his way?
Andreas Lasiewicz vs. Alex Jones
The bell rings and Lasiewicz is taking it to Jones straight away. Jones gets some shots in and nails Lasiewicz with chops. Jones clotheslines Lasie over the top rope and follows him to the outside. Irish whip into the barricade but Lasiewicz gets his foot up and blocks. Andreas smashes Jones’ head into the railing and rolls him back into the ring, going for a pin but only getting a one count.
Lasiewicz has control now. Spinning back elbow to Jones gets a two count. Jones catches a kick and gets a big boot of his own. BIG vertical suplex from Jones for two. Chops in the corner by Alex. Lasiewicz eventually turns it around. In the opposite corner, he flips over AJ for a sunset flip! 1…2…no! Alex sends Lasiewicz to the apron! Big dropkick to the floor! AJ looks like he’s going to go for a suicide dive but Lasie is up and Jones thinks better of it, spinning himself back into the ring where he waits for the GDW Champion.
Lasiewicz back in. Very unique arm and headlock from Jones before he starts to choke Lasiewicz. Breaks at 3. Backdrop suplex for two on Lasiewicz. AJ-guri from Jones! No cover, he just stalks his opponent and waits for him to get back to his feet. He goes for a flying forearm but Lasiewicz moves out of the way. Jones runs and flips off the top rope, but Lasiewicz moves. Spinning lariat from Lasiewicz! Spinebuster! 1…2…no!!
He pulls Jones back to his feet and looks for a suplex, but AJ pushes him away and connects with a series of quick kicks and then a hiptoss, jumping fist drop, nip-up, STIFF kick to Lasiewizc’s back… that’s the Xtreme Combo and it got Jones a two count. He waits for Andreas to get back to his feet again, springboard dropkick takes him back down. He looks for a top rope elbow drop but the GDW Champ rolls out of the way and Jones lands hard on his arm. Lasiewicz moves quickly to lock in an armbar submission hold!
Jones smashes his fist on the canvas, writhing in pain. But he’s not giving up, despite how many times referee Ed Watling is asking him. He’s reaching out with his free arm, trying to get to the ropes, which are agonisingly just out of reach. Lasiewicz seems to lean back even more, putting even more pressure on the joints of Alex Jones. Jones manages to roll onto his side, getting up to a knee with Lasiewicz still holding on to his arm. Jones then kicks Lasie several times and manages to break the hold. AJ knows how to get out of those kinds of holds, having been using the AJ-Lock himself for years now.
Jones grabs Andreas and takes him over with a suplex, floating over into a pin but only getting a one count. Jones pulls Lasiewicz up and whips him into the corner, following in with a splash, getting his knees up into the chest and then monkey flipping Lasie out of the corner. He heads to the top and connects with the Spiral Tap! Cover, 1…2… NO! Lasiewicz kicks out!
AJ believes he should have had the match won there and is slapping the mat as a sign that Ed Watling should have counted quicker. He gets up and turns around… to be met by The Peacemaker (High Angle Super Kick)!! Lasiewicz grabs Jones, Unforgettable Fire (Argentine Backbreaker into Falling Reverse DDT)!! Cover… 1… 2… 3!!
Your winner, Andreas Lasiewicz!
Well that was one heck of a match, great action from both men but in the end it’s Andreas Lasiewicz that walks out as the winner. Jones’ attempts to get his hands on Gambino suffer a setback, it’ll be interesting to see how he responds to that one. While Lasiewicz goes from strength to strength, and has that GDW Championship wrapped safely around his waist. If he continues to go like this through FRONTIER talent, how long before he becomes the number one contender? And what happens if Gambino is still the champion if that happens? There’s an interesting thought for you!

The screen fades to white and in blue text the word “FRONTLINE” appears, followed by a series of Japanese kanji. The words fade and we find ourselves in a conference room of a hotel, journalists and cameras set up facing a long table which is covered in microphones. Behind the table is a board with the FRONTLINE logo all over it, along with several logos of Japanese companies right alongside the Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER logo and the GFC logo.
From the right of the screen comes a Japanese woman in a smart trouser suit, followed by a man familiar to many FRONTIER fans. This is Alan Galpin, president of the GFC, and Hanako Yamamoto, vice-president. They take up seats in the middle of the table, each taking a sip of water from glasses laid out for them. Hanako Yamamoto begins to address the crowd in Japanese and we can hear a translator.
HY: Thank you for joining us, it is a pleasure to speak to you all today. I’ll spare the pleasantries and skip straight to business, there will be a chance for questions once our statement is concluded.
She sips some more water and clears her throat.
HY: It is with great pleasure that I can formally announce today that the Global Frontier Crown is coming to Japan. You will have heard recently that I have taken ownership of Tokyo Pure Wrestling? Well today I am happy to inform you that on March 8th the company will re-launch as Pro-Wrestling FRONTLINE. All of the great stars of TPW remain, with the exception of Dragon Takeshi who has decided to retire from the business. We are sorry that he will not be joining us on this journey, and thank him for the decades of hard work he put into this company since he was part of the team that opened TPW back in the early 1980’s.
HY: As well as the great roster of talent that TPW had we’re also pleased to inform you that there has been an influx of new talent. Great Japanese stars like Kenta Urinoe, Hiro Yuko, Katsutoshi di Limones, BIFU, OOKAMI no Chi and Kenta Yamashita will all be joining us. We are hopeful that more names will be added to this impressive list in the coming weeks.
HY: We are also pleased to announce the first five gaijin stars who will join us for the first tour this March. Those names are; Jason Richards, Adam Stryker, Troy Gafgen, Ryan Kidd and Saiko Yunokawa.
Yamamoto finishes what she is saying and allows Alan Galpin to continue from here.
AG: The GFC’s presence in FRONTIER is pretty much ceremonial at this point, but our ethics and beliefs are based on some of the finest puro companies in Japans history, so it’s to be expected that when Hanako came to me with the news she was buying a wrestling company I jumped at the chance to get the GFC involved. We’ve created four new GFC Championships specifically for FRONTLINE, and we’ve agreed with FRONTIER that they are able to be defended in either company. Matt Montell was particularly interested in the new GFC Tag-Team Championships.
AG: I know that certain people were holding TPW titles when the company closed in November, but FRONTLINE is to be a new start, a clean slate. So all the new GFC titles are vacated pending tournaments to crown all new champions.
Yamamoto continues as she explains more details about the company’s new dealings.
HY: We are also very pleased to announce a deal with Nippon TV and SkyPerfecTV. FRONTLINE POWER WRESTLING will air at 7pm every Sunday evening on Nippon TV from 17th March. And our big showcase events will air monthly at 8pm through SkyPerfecTV. We believe these deals will bring FRONTLINE into many homes all over Japan and we can’t wait to see our first show!

Some words from Hanako Yamamoto there, talking about Pro-Wrestling FRONTLINE which launches in just a couple of weeks in Japan. And it’s exciting that several FRONTIER stars will be headed to the land of the rising son to compete on that first tour.
Ok, time for our next match; a preview of the WARPED Tag-Team Title match coming up in a few weeks. But this one is a Chivalry is Dead match, so hold on to your hats!
UK Dragons vs. CarnEvil Connection – Chivalry is Dead Match
Right, before we get into this cracking match, CarnEvil Connection had a few words to say as they came to the ring…
— VIDEO —
Royal Albert Hall is filled with jeers just as “Three Rings” by Insane Clown Posse hits the PA. The jeers nearly drown the music out as CarnEvil Connection step out onto the top of the entrance way. The duo is adorned in their rattiest street clothes which include tattered sports coats and tuxedo t-shirts. Around their waists are their WARPED Tag Team Titles.
They take their sweet time getting to the ring jaw jacking with as many FRONTIER fans as possible. Upon reaching the ring they pull themselves to the apron. Treats reaches into his sports coat and pulls out his orange and white striped “bag of Treats” to a smattering of enthusiasm. CarnEvil Connection step through the middle and top ropes. “Sir” Douglas Fresh requests the microphone from. Once in hand he taps it.
Douglas Fresh: “I would say it’s great to be back in Jolly ‘Ol England.”
The crowd pops.
Douglas Fresh: “If I did, I’d be telling a bold face lie!”
Dougie soaks in the jeers as he reaches inside his tattered sports coat and retrieves a heart shape box
Douglas Fresh: “Evangelista.. I saw that you were sad about not having a Valentine this year.. I know it’s late. However, took it upon myself to bring you a belated Valentine’s gift.”
Evangelista gives Dougie a cautious glance as he sits the heart on the canvas and slides it across the ring with his foot.
Douglas Fresh: “I hope you like chocolate.”
Evangelista picks the heart shaped box up and Dougie allows a smirk to creep out from under his mask as she opens it. She drops it as soon as she opens it. A few chocolate covered thumbtacks bounce out and scatter at her feet.
Douglas Fresh: “Happy belated Valentine’s Day, sugar britches!”
— / VIDEO —
Evangelista kicks the box out of the ring, although several of the tacks remain in the ring. Laurel and Evangelista step forward and offer their hands to CCNX, who look at each other and then shake their heads, stepping backwards. They may not have adhered to the Code of Respect, but at least they didn’t sucker punch their opponents there. I guess that’s some kind of respect.
Referee Sal Mancini calls for the bell and we’re off. And, almost instantly, all hell breaks loose. Seeing as this is a Chivalry is Dead match there’s no way Mancini can stop all four wrestlers from being in the ring at the same time, so he just lets this turn into a tornado tag match!
Laurel starts stood in front of Evangelista, who doesn’t look best pleased at being in this type of match, especially up against Treats and Fresh. Mr Rottentreats puts down his “bag of treats”, placing it under the turnbuckle in his teams corner and saving it for later in the match. Then all four of them just charge at each other and brawl in the middle of the ring. It’s a good couple of minutes worth of brawling too, no other way to describe it. Eventually CCNX get the upper hand and whip both the UK Dragons into the ropes, taking them down with perfectly synchronised dropkicks.
Lauren and Evangelista pop back up and charge in, connecting with flying elbows and pushing CCNX into the ropes. They then both clothesline their WARPED rivals over the top rope and to the floor of the Royal Albert Hall. The UK Dragons pump up the crowd in the ring while Treats and Fresh take off their sports coats, which they’d still had on until this point. They slide back into the ring, coats in their hands, and toss them over the heads of their opponents. Laurel and Evangelista are blinded momentarily and CCNX take them down with lariats. Treats then heads outside and grabs a steel chair.
Fresh one arm scoop slams Laurel, who still has a coat over her head, and then slams Evangelista too. Treats is back in and is on the top rope, holding the chair. Bermuda triangle moon sault with the chair!! Treats lands HARD on Evangelista; and he doesn’t bother trying to pin her, he’s clearly out to do more damage!
Laurel is trading blows with Doug Fresh, has him tied up in the ropes and connects with some speedy shots to the ribs. She then spots that Rottentreats is about to smash Evangelista with the chair and sprints across to stop him, leaping up and taking him down with a reverse DDT. She leaps off the middle rope and connects with a springboard moonsault. Fresh has got himself free and tries to grab Laurel, who nails him with a Pele kick.
Evangelista has rolled to the outside to catch her breath and soon Laurel joins her to make sure she’s ok. Laurel goes under the ring and pulls out a table, setting it up at ringside. Evangelista is back in the ring and has Fresh in a headlock. Headlock takedown and she rolls over Fresh before locking in a figure four. Fresh grabs the ropes, but that does him no good at all. Fortunately for him Mr Rottentreats pulls Evangelista off him and connects with a Cravate Leg Sweep.
Laurel is back in and attacks Treats, connecting with a dropkick to the back. She takes him to the ring apron and signals to the crowd that she’s going to go for “Flower Plower Mk.III: Terror From Beneath” from the ring apron through the table! The fans go wild at that thought, but they won’t get to see it, Treats drops to the floor and out of Laurel’s grasp before she can get him locked in place. She quickly adjusts, leaps and takes him down with a hurricanrana; fortunately for Treats it’s away from the table!
Inside the ring Evangelista and Fresh are brawling again. Fresh takes her over with a hip toss, follows with an elbow drop and then stomps her mid-section. On the outside Treats blocks being tossed into the railing and suplexes Laurel onto the arena floor. He then grabs the steel chair from the edge of the ring and tosses it to Fresh, who connects hard on the fallen Evangelista! While Treats was doing that Laurel had managed to reach under the ring and pulls out a road sign that’s in English and Welsh. It reads “Road Closed / Ffordd ar gan” and is soon imprinted with the shape of Mr Rottentreats’ face! Laurel slides into the ring and wraps the sign around the head of Doug Fresh next, saving her partner from another chair shot.
Fresh rolls out of the ring, where he and his brother recover a little. Treats spots the box of chocolate covered thumbtacks on the floor by his feet and he picks them up, tossing them into the ring. Tacks spread all over one corner of the ring and Evangelista spots them, her face turning pale. Treats and Fresh slide into the ring and charge their opponents, using their power advantage to gain the upper hand once more. Fresh whips Laurel into the ropes and connects with a running leg lariat. Treats moves Evangelista near the tacks and connects with a big series of punches. CRAVATE BOMB ONTO THE CHOCOLATE COVERED THUMBTACKS!!
The crowd lets out a collective “OOOOH!”
Treats grins as Evangelista writhes in pain, tacks stuck into her and chocolate melted all over her. Fresh high fives his brother, but in taking his eyes of Laurel he allows her to charge Treats and connect with a dropsault. Treats stumbles back and lands on his rear end, on some of the thumbtacks! He yelps slightly, pops back to his feet and connects with a massive rolling elbow. He grabs Laurel, places her on the top turnbuckle and steps out onto the ring apron. While he’s doing this Douglas is pulling out some lighter fluid and a lighter… and he sets fire to the table at ringside! Treats has Laurel in a cravate and she is looking worried. CRAVATE O CLASM THROUGH THE FLAMING TABLE!!
“HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT!” chant from the fans here in London.
Doug Fresh is attacked by Evangelista, who connects with a Pinay Legsweep (Tornado into side Russian legsweep, without touching the ground) out of nowhere. She looks down at Treats and Laurel and shouts some obscenities to him. He responds by reaching for his “bag of treats” and emptying the contents on the ring apron. The bag contains a spike, a can of pop, two pairs of handcuffs, powder/salt, the materials for a fireball, and a tin with the barbs from barbwire on it. He opens the can of pop and takes a swig before tossing it into the crowd. Then he grabs the handcuffs and proceeds to drag Laurel up the entrance ramp towards a balcony usually reserved for orchestras performing here at the Royal Albert Hall. Once there he punches Laurel and lays her out again, going back to the ring and grabbing another table from ringside as well as a Singapore cane.
By now Doug Fresh has Evangelista locked in a Camel Clutch after having attacked her from behind, positioned so she can see Laurel being dragged around by Treats. Treats sets up the table under the balcony and lays Laurel on it. He handcuffs her right hand to one end of the Singapore cane, runs the cane under the table and then handcuffs her left hand to the other end of the cane. She’s now effectively tied to the table and has no way of escaping!
Treats begins to climb up to the balcony as Evangelista watches on, helpless. Laurel begins to stir and soon realises where she is and what’s going on. She struggles to free herself but can’t. Treats has reached the top of the balcony, some fifteen feet above her. He signals to the crowd….
MOONSAULT FROM THE BALCONY THROUGH THE TABLE… WAIT… OH MY GOD!
“You fucked up, you fucked up” chants the crowd.
At the last possible second Laurel rolled herself backwards, twisting her arms and landing on her feet at one end of the table; her hands still tied to the cane. Treats crashes through the table, breaking the table and the Singapore cane which frees Laurel. Un-fucking-believable!
While he’s laying in broken pieces of wood Laurel begins stumbling back to the ring, to try and help her friend. Doug Fresh releases Evangelista and goes to cut Laurel off. The two brawl just outside the ring and Fresh manages to overpower her and DDT’s her on the floor. He turns around to be met by a tope con hilo from Evangelista!
“This is Awesome!” chant from the London fans here now, and I’m inclined to agree.
Evangelista grabs something from the ring before helping Laurel to her feet. She hands Laurel what looks like a pie? Laurel grabs Doug Fresh from the floor and slams the pie into the face of the CCNX man. But that’s no usual pie… it’s filled with thumbtacks! Fresh rolls around, holding his face as several of those tacks have become stuck to his mask and neck.
Rottentreats is slowly stiring and is up to a knee in the midst of that broken table. Meanwhile Laurel and Evangelista have Fresh sat up in the middle of the ring. Stevie G (Running shoot kick to the back of the head of a sitting opponent) from Evangelista and a Springboard corkscew senton from Laurel.
Treats is now up and staggering around, and has grabbed a steel chair which is wrapped in barbed wire. I mean, really, who leaves this shit laying around the Royal Albert Hall? Laurel notices him on his way down and goes to cut him off, not realising what’s in his hands behind his back. As she approaches him he swings the chair and catches her HARD!
Evangelista goes to whip Doug Fresh who reverses and sends Evangelista into the ropes, drops down, then starts criss-crossing the ropes with her. On the third time he charges in yelling “I’M THE FOOT BITCH!!” just as Treats throws the barbed wire chair into the ring! FRESH BOOTS THE BARBED WIRE CHAIR INTO THE FACE OF EVANGELISTA!!!
Evangelista looks out of it as blood now pours from one side of her face. Doug Fresh makes a cover and this one is over!
Your winners, CarnEvil Connection!

All four participants are a bloody mess and struggling to get to their feet. Treats signals for a microphone.
Mr. Rottentreats: Cut the music!
Treats pulls himself up to his feet with the aid of the top rope and assists his younger brother to his feet as well.
Mr. Rottentreats: La..urel… Evan…ge..lista..
CarnEvil Connection step to the center of the ring holding each other up.
Mr. Rottentreats: I’ve been in the art of extreme since the late eighties..
“YOU OLD FUCK, YOU OLD FUCK, YOU OLD FUCK!”
Mr. Rottentreats: What I’m trying to say is this… Whether you wanted it or not. You both have earned my respect.
Treats extends his hand then quickly smacks his brother after noticing he hasn’t followed suit. The UK Dragons help each other to their feet, Evangelista leaning heavily on Laurel for support, and hesitantly accept the gesture of respect. CCNX raise The UK Dragons’ hands up in the air and the crowd pops. Meanwhile, CCNX’s fellow AbominationZ members Alexander StarrZoë and Crowbar creep through the audience. They jump the rail, slide into the ring, and pearl harbor the already physically drained UK Dragons. The crowd hisses at the AbominationZ. Treats hands the microphone off to Crowbar as the AbominationZ lay the boots to Laurel and Evangelista.
Crowbar: Did you really think that WARPED could contain the AbominationZ?
The crowd is in an uproar as Crowbar and StarrZoë retrieve large wrenches from their respective waistlines and hoist them above their heads. Treats stops both men, who now have confused looks on their faces. Treats shakes his head ‘no’ and points to the bottom rope! Crowbar and StarrZoë nod in agreement. The two AbominationZ quickly undo the turnbuckles from the ring posts. The AbominationZ wrap the bottom rope around the throats of the UK Dragons and start tugging! They start fading fast, and the fans are throwing stuff into the ring at this.
Something else flies into the ring… a BBC Micro! It wangs Crowbar and makes him stumble to one knee, and the rest of the AbominationZ focus on the entranceway where Jay Pride and Madman Szalinski are charging down to the ring, the latter having thrown the computer. He has an Atari Jaguar under one arm, too! Trailing Jay and Madman are Matt Kail, Ariel Shadows, Alex Jones and Dave Spikey to a huge cheer!
The AbominationZ powder out as the FRONTIER wrestlers hit the ring, and Mr. Rottentreats grabs the microphone and the WARPED Tag Titles before they jump the rail and dash through the crowd. Spit and trash from FRONTIER fans flies as The AbominationZ taunt the FRONTIER stars and crowd, raising the titles in the air.
Mr. Rottentreats: And that ladies, is how Mistah Rottentreats has fun! Quick all you crooked tooth, fish and chips scarfing, tea and crumpet consuming assholes! Take out your cell phones and snap a photo! This is the last time FRONTIER will ever see OUR titles! Don’t worry England… WARPED is coming in April!
Treats passes the microphone to his younger brother.
Douglas Fresh: See you in Los Angeles, ladies!
Madman heaves the Jaguar at the AbominationZ, and StarrZoë bats it away with his wrench. While Matt checks on the Dragons, the others press their advance, making sure the invaders keep their distance. The AbominationZ split triumphantly, and the FRONTIER stars help Laurel and Evangelista to the back.

Well AbominationZ are certainly well named, that’s for sure. Some despicable behaviour from them here tonight. Thankfully the rest of the FRONTIER locker-room saw them off. Hopefully no major damage has been done to the UK Dragons, who go up against the CCNX once again for the WARPED Tag-Team Championships really soon. We’ll keep you informed of how they get on in that match.
Ok, let’s move swiftly on to our main event. We just saw Pride come out and get involved in that aftermatch; hopefully his head is in the right place because he’s about to go one-on-one with the GFC Champion. And it’s been a long time since Gambino defended this title, there’s a lot of people gunning for him at the moment but it’s Pride who gets the opportunity first. Can Gabe hold onto that title and continue his reign?
Gabriel Gambino (c) vs. Jay Pride – GFC World Heavyweight Championship
We’re awaiting the main event, and some music cues up… but it’s neither “Papercut” nor “The Game,” the two songs we’re expecting. Instead it’s The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again!”
There’s a huge pop, just for the song itself. The cheering continues as Jay Pride appears! Well, he has a history of using his entrance themes to make a statement. Guess this one is making it clear how he perceives the Godfathers’ “revolution.”
He’s taking his time getting to the ring, making sure to interact with the fans. He finally hops into the ring, just as the lines play: “the world looks just the same / and history ain’t changed / cause the banners, they all flown in the last war.” I suspect Gambino and Lasiewicz won’t care that much about this insult, but I don’t think Pride is doing it for their benefit. The fans certainly seem to be into it, at least the ones who are familiar with what the song is about. There’s a fair few around who just seem to be doing David Caruso to their buddies.
Gambino is in next, to a chorus of boos from the near five thousand fans here in London. He has the GFC Championship draped over his shoulder as he calmly makes his way to the ring.
The two men actually shake hands, although that was more of a saving face move from Gambino seeing as Pride offered, and we’re off. Gambino works leg kicks to begin. Knuckle lock, arm bar by Pride and Gambino escapes for a moment, but Pride gets the hold back. Hair pull by Jay Pride, Gabe now escapes and takes Pride down and works the arm. Gambino stomps on the elbow, and gets a cover for 2. Early attempt from the champ, he’ll be lucky to end things so soon.
Pride rolls to the floor, regroups and comes back in. Lock up, to the ropes and a kick to the leg by Pride, working the right knee. Hammerlock by Gambino, takes Pride to the mat and then works the other arm. Gambino pulls at the arm, works the count, wanting to make the most of his five seconds given to him by referee Andrew Woodford. Lock up, off the ropes and a tackle by Jay Pride. Headlock takedown on Gambino, they work to the feet, off the ropes, another tackle by Pride but now Gambino works for a surfboard. Double stomp on the knees, and now uppercuts by Gambino. Back to the arm goes Gambino, hammerlock takedown and then drops back with the legs locked on the arm. Gambino now pulls at the other arm at a bad angle, and then gets a cover for 2. Off the ropes and a big clothesline by Gambino, and Pride rolls to the floor. Pride recoups on the outside, Gambino to the apron and gets a big dropkick off of the apron.
Back into the ring they go, and Gambino stomps the heck out of Pride. To the corner, Gambino misses a charge, kicks by Pride and traps the knee in the ropes and clotheslines Gambino down, trapping the knee in the tree of woe. Pride grinds the boot into the face. Snap mare into the ropes by Pride, and then works for the surfboard. He then opts for the double stomp on the knees, and then kicks away at the knee of Gambino. Single leg crab by Pride as he has focused in on the leg. He breaks and then applies a standing figure four. Drops down and really cranks on the leg, and gets a cover for 2. Spinning toehold by Pride, and then into the figure four-leg lock! Gambino fights and tries to turn the hold but can’t. Gambino tries to keep his shoulder off of the mat, works to turn the hold once again and does. Pride rolls it back, but Gambino gets the ropes for the break. Great focus from Jay Pride here, he’s really going for this.
Gambino fights back with uppercuts, and then some by Pride. They trade uppercuts now, boot by Pride, off the ropes and a charging knee by Gambino. Kicks to the back, and then a charging kick to the face by Gambino. Rights to Pride in the corner, knee by Pride. A whip to the corner, reversal and Gambino somehow ends up with the ankle lock locked in! (granted I may have been distracted by the lovely lady in row 2)
Pride holds onto the ropes and gets up to his foot, but Gambino pulls him into a German suplex and gets 2! CROSS FACE CHICKEN WING by Gambino! Pride escapes, but Gambino gets it once again! Pride escapes, pinning counters for near falls now and Gambino finishes with a close 2. Pride back to the leg, and gets a single leg DDT. Uppercuts by Pride, and then a charging one. Gambino counters a lariat, chicken wing again! Pride to a knee, and he makes the ropes. Kicks to the back by Gambino, repeated kicks now and he unloads until Andrew Woodford pulls him off. Gambino feeling the pressure here. That allows Pride to clip the knee, and both men are down. Pride sets Gambino on the top rope, chops and then traps the leg and hangs Gambino up. Forearms to the knee by Pride, and as the official frees Gambino, Pride NAILS him with a lariat! 1…2…NO!
Gambino escapes a figure four try and Pride goes to the floor. Gambino rolls out after him. They brawl on the floor; Gabe gets a chair but Woodford takes it away. Both men get back into the ring and as Gabe’s getting to his feet Pride goes for a superkick, but Gambino pulls Woodford in front of him! The ref is out! Andreas Lasiewicz sprints to the ring and grabs the chair, attempting to smash it into the head of Jay Pride; but Pride ducks, grabs the chair from the GDW Champion and nails him with it!
The crowd cheer, but not for long as Gabriel Gambino has picked up the GFC World Heavyweight Championship and flattens Jay Pride with it! Boos ring out from the Royal Albert Hall as Gambino stands tall in the ring, holding the GFC Championship high in the air.
Just then another man comes running to ringside, in a hoodie and with a bandana covering his face. He catches Gambino unawares as he picks up the chair and lays the Champion out with it! He tosses the chair out of the ring and pushes Lasiewicz out too. Then he picks up the GFC Championship and looks at It long and hard. He holds it up in one hand as he pulls down his hood and mask…. revealing KEVIN HARDAWAY!!
Within seconds Matt Montell, FRONTIER security and two Metropolitan Police Officers are sprinting to the ring. Hardaway drops the belt, drops to his knees and puts his hands on his head.
“HARD-A-WAY, HARD-A-WAY!” chants from the crowd as he’s handcuffed and escorted from the premises. Montell watches on as the former GFC Champion is lead away, before checking on Pride, Gambino and Andrew Woodford. Montell tells security to get Lasiewicz away from ringside too and they lead him away as another referee, Ed Watling, comes running to ringside.
Pride is back to a knee by now and isn’t really sure what just happened. Neither is anyone else at the Royal Albert Hall! But I think Kevin Hardaway just evened the odds for Jay Pride!
Gambino is busted open from that chair shot and Pride is PISSED! Gambino staggers back to his feet. LARIAT by Pride! Cover… 1…2…NO!
Gambino fires up, counters the World of Sport Special (Rebound/pendulum lariat) into a cross arm breaker! TRIANGLE CHOKE by Gambino! Pride is fading…but fights out and escapes the hold into the half crab, no, small package by Gambino for 2! Pride with a head butt to the gut, and Gambino gets the crucifix for 2! Up to their feet, TIGER SUPLEX by Gambino! Eye of Medusa (Koji clutch)!! Escape by Pride and he gets BEFORE A FALL (Canadian rack into single knee backbreaker)! Pride gets to his feet, Gambino tries to get to his feet and Pride KILLS Gambino with the World of Sport lariat! 1…2…NO!!!!!
Gambino is back up, groggy, and Pride charges him. Gambino tries to counter with a discuss lariat, but Pride grabs the arm and drags him down. BICEP SLICER! Pride has Gabe right in the middle of the ring! He has the champ’s arm tight and Gambino has nowhere to go. He fights, he struggles… but eventually he taps out!
Your winner, and NEW GFC World Heavyweight Champion, Jay Pride!!!
Pride celebrates wildly in the ring, and is soon joined by the UK Dragons, Laurel Anne Hardy and Evangelista who have been patched up after their match earlier this evening. Also others from the FRONTIER locker room come to the ring to celebrate with the new champion. Dave Spikey, Kenta Yamashita, Matt Kail amongst them. Gambino is arguing with replacement referee Ed Watling, but his complaints are in vain.
Well, what a way to end this iPPV! That was one heck of a match, credit to both men for a great show as always here tonight. And don’t forget to mark 26th May 2013 in your diary, because that’s the day FRONTIER returns to iPPV from the Braehead Arena, Glasgow. And I can guarantee you that Jay Pride is going to try to hang onto that title tooth and nail to make sure he defends that title in his native Scotland!
But before then join us in two weeks at the Doncaster Dome as we bring you more great FRONTIER action. Until then, take care!
