As our second match was being introduced by the delectable Jenni Starr, fans chanted “You Suck” at Blackwood, so Blackwood threatened to leave. He then said that since the fans wanted him to leave, he would stay. He claimed his doctor requested no “You Suck” chants because they’re damaging to his mental health. Spikey went to shake hands, so Blackwood snotted in his hand and offered it back. An interesting way to piss of your opponent while still technically adhering to the Code of Respect. What a douche.
Once referee Ed Watling got the match underway Blackwood caught Spikey in a hammerlock. They went back and forth with some solid wrestling early. Blackwood shoulder-blocked Spikey down but Spikey came back with a leg lariat. Blackwood went to the floor, where Spikey nailed him with a dropkick through the ropes. Spikey went for a moonsault but Blackwood grabbed his legs and slammed him to the floor. He whipped Spikey into the railing.
Back in the ring, they exchanged chops. Spikey was sent up and over but landed on the apron. Blackwood was run into the corner. He came back to suplex Spikey back in and sent him shoulder first into the ringpost. Blackwood stalked Spikey on the floor. He brought Spikey back into the ring and choked him in the corner. Spikey began kicking to attempt a comeback but was cut off by Blackwood. Blackwood continued to work over Spikey’s bad shoulder.
Spikey began mounting a comeback with a series of rights and the Polish Hammer. He missed another but took out Blackwood’s knees with a dropkick. He nailed a Rocker Dropper on Blackwood for a two count. He flipped out of the corner to avoid Blackwood and nailed a rana. Spikey went for a German suplex but Blackwood was too burly. He went for another rana but was powerbombed down for a two count.
Blackwood backdropped Spikey over the top. Spikey landed on his feet and went for a shoulderblock but Blackwood kicked him in the head and DDT’d him back into the ring. Blackwood went for a flip splash in the corner but missed. Spikey hit a springboard missile dropkick. Blackwood went for the package piledriver but Spikey nailed him with the Kryptonite Krunch for a two count. Spikey went for a powerbomb but couldn’t hold him. Blackwood superkicked him and then picked him up for a Fisherman’s buster, dropping Spikey across his knee.
Blackwood went to the top for a swanton but Spikey got his knees up. He dropped Blackwood on his head several times with full nelson suplexes but only received a two count. Blackwood kicked him low and hit the package piledriver but Spikey kicked out. Blackwood locked in a Crowbar and Spikey tapped.

Real good match. They started slow but built a really good match and took the crowd on a nice ride. It’s difficult to imagine that Mike Blackwood was once a fan favourite, the guy’s such an ass and got a lot of heat from the crowd after picking up the win here tonight.
