Hello Frontier fans! Bobby Belter here to recap another fantastic show. After a dominating performance in New Jersey at the FGA vs Frontier 2 show we make our final stop on the U.S. Tour in Phoenix, Arizona at the GCU Events Center.

We stated the show with Graham Clausen taking on Blood Tiger in what turned out to be a good back and forth match.

Graham Clauson vs Blood Tiger

This was a great introduction to show as both Luchadors they went at it with some brilliant back and forth action in the opening stages.Clauson looked to have won it with a Spinning heel kick which completely caught Tiger off guard, but he kicks out and goes on the offensive. After almost sealing a win with jumping DDT he kept the pressure on with a series of suplexes, a Dragon Sleeper that brought a rope break and a clothesline that almost turned Clauson inside out. Clauson manages to fight back and take control after mailing a Ra’s al Ghul (Kip-Up to Standing Rolling Koppo Kick). One Ludovico Technique (Snapmare Driver) later and the match was over.

Your Winner, Graham Clauson!

Clauson continues to roll on.. If he keep this up he could be on pace for title shot. Before we get to the triple threat match with Michael Hopkins vs Jay Pride vs Drake Hunter lets hear from Michael Hopkins who managed to parlay his performance a few weeks ago into FGA Pride Championship match.

– VIDEO –

(Michael Hopkins is standing by backstage in the locker room.)

Michael: You know I was expecting to be stood here with the FGA Pride Championship draped over my shoulder but it seems that fate decided it was not my time to shine but it was Chris Bond who was destined to leave Baltimore with the Gold. So congratulations Chris, for one night you were better than me but I hope that in the future we will be able to test our skills against one another once more and when that time comes I prove that last night was the only night you will ever be better than me. But that is done with and now we come to right here in Phoenix and we come to Drake Hunter and Jay Pride.

Time is up boys and I hope you are ready. See I was already determined to win this match before last night but after failing to leave FGA with their belt I am more hungry for this victory than ever before. I need this win. I need to make Frontier realize that Michael Hopkins is the man to hedge your bets on for this companies future. I will not lose this fight. I am going to walk down to the ring and I am going to show Drake Hunter that the Best In The World is Welsh not Australian as I pick him apart piece by piece and leave him a crippled mess on the canvas. I will put on a masterclass on how to wake someone the fuck up from a dillusional dream by making the Punk realize that all he is junk. He wants to say that I am no match for him? Son I’m Manchester United and you’re Wrexham. I am Premiership and you’re conference. And it doesn’t matter what you do to try to win because you will fail. Reality awaits you Drake and me kicking your arse is the catalyst to your realization.

(Michael runs his hand over his mouth and then continues.)

Michael: Now Jay I see that you are dealing with some problems with some Starrzoe fella and I sympathize with you. But a mind that is distracted equals to a body that gets broken by The Welsh Dragon. Now you need to put all that crap to one side and concentrate on me because if you don’t you will fall much easier than I thought you would. I am here tonight to make a statement. To make a big bang in this company. Beating you shows that I am someone to respect and someone who should be up there fighting the best week in and week out. To you this is just another match but to me this match is everything. This is the match that could ignite my career and push me towards the World Title frame. And that is why no matter what where your head is at, you will experience a loss at the hands of The Welsh Dragon. But I will say this if anyone attacks you that is not supposed to then I will stand by your side and fight with you.

(Michael starts to smile.)

Michael: Before I finish. Chandler Scott. You are a big bad ass sat behind a keyboard tweeting crap. But I am here in Phoenix. You are here in Phoenix. How about you stop tweeting and you say what you want to say to me face to face and we show the world that you are nothing but a guy who is being employed to keep the World Title warm for better men like me. Start acting like a champ instead of a chump. There will be a day that you and I meet in the ring once again and I will show you just how good I got after two long years since we last fought. Chandler, your time on top of Frontier is limited so soak it in because I am coming for you and sooner or later you will stop running and I will take the thing you hold most dear. And that is the Veritas.

Jay, Drake it is time. It is my time. Cymraeg ddraig am byth!!!!!!!!

Michael Hopkins vs Jay Pride vs Drake Hunter

These three went at it like dogs as soon as the bell sounded, they literally just pounded away on each other and the Phoenix crowd was loving it. Not quite what you would expect from three of the more technical wrestlers in Frontier, but with all three eager to align themselves for a shot at Chandler Scott’s championship. Eventually Jay Pride landed a series of blows that rocked Drake Hunter. Pride takes the dazed Hunter down with a German Suplex, but is nailed by a missile dropkick from Michael Hopkins. Hunter recovered enough to slide in behind Hopkins and tried to sneak a win with a school boy pin, but Hopkins kicked out after a one count. Hopkins hoped up to charge after Hunter, but was caught off guard by a superkick. Before Hunter could capitalize Pride was right there with a running knee to the gut followed by a pump handle back breaker.

The three continue to trade shots with no one able to assume control of the match until Jay Pride get flips over the ropes and lands hard at ring side. With Pride down Hopkins goes on the attack with a vicious clothesline. Hopkins goes for a suplex, but its blocked by Hunter who shoves Hopkins off and drops him with a step up enzuigiri. As Hopkins gets up Hunter goes for a hurricanrana, but is caught and slammed down in a power bomb. Hopkins gets taken down with a Crossbody block by Jay Pride, who stays on top and locks in a Bicep slicer submission. Just as it looks like Hopkins might tapout Hunter is there to break it up and save the match. Now all three wrestlers are laid out on the mat as the referee looks around unsure of how to proceed.

They would eventually get back up and go back at it. Drake Hunter finds himself in the middle of The Divine Flurry on Jay Pride, but cut off by a Sweet Dreams (Roundhouse kick to the head) by Michael Hopkins. Hopkins scrambled to make the cover. Prides tried to make the save, but was just a little late.

Your Winner, Michael Hopkins!

What a match that was and what impressive win by Michael Hopkins. He is most definitely positioning himself for whoever the new General Manager is. Next we have Chandler Scott going one on one with another exciting young talent who is doing very well for himself, Jason X.

Chandler Scott vs Jason X

Chandler Scott made it clear he wanted to punish Jason X for not getting the job done at FGX vs Frontier 2 and he did so from the very start. Scott took the match to Jason in the early stages, a big clothesline was followed by a series of stomps to the head as Jason struggled to cover up. Jason rolled out of the ring to the apron, but Scott was there with a textbook dropkick. Jason flew off the apron landing hard on the arena floor. Scott waited for Jason to stand before leaping off the apron and connecting with a double axe handle. He rammed Jason into the safety rail in front of the fans before rolling him back into the ring. Scott then went for another clothesline but Jason ducks it. Scott spins round, straight into a big right hand from Jason. And another. And another. Scott rocked now as Jason takes him up and over with a suplex, maintaining his grip on his opponent and rolling through into an armbar! Scott shows great ring awareness and has his hands on the ropes before the move is even fully applied.

Jason grabs Scott again, going for the Argentine Backbreaker and following up with a Flying X Attack (Corkscrew 450 Splash), but Scott gets his knees up just in time. Scott nails a DDT, a jumping elbow drop and locks in the Harvard Crab (Boston Crab), but Jason is quick to grab the ropes and break the hold. Scott then drags Jason to the corner, connecting with some knee strikes before stepping back, charging in and connecting with a Running Forearm Smash Jason crumples to the canvas! Cover for two. Scott looks angered by not getting the three and goes straight back to work on Jason. A Vertical Suplex is followed by a Jumping Kneedrop and another two count.

Jason begins to take control of the match and is able to land the X-Driver II (Spinning Unprettier) on Scott, but the GFC Champion proves resilient. Jason looks frustrated that he didn’t get the three but tries to put it behind him. He launches Scott over with a snap suplex. Jason climbs to the top rope , but takes a moment too long as Scott is able to dive at the ropes to knock Jason off balance and send him crashing to the ring. Both men get up around the same time, but its Chandler Scott who acts as he explodes at Jason and nails the Harvard Hammer (Polish Hammer) 1.. 2..3

Your Winner, Chandler Scott!

Chandler Scott, our GFC Champion, was in rare form tonight. He set out to take out his frustrations on Jason X and from the looks of it he succeeded. Based on his reaction to the announcement that he will be defending the GFC Championship against Ben Hansen, I don’t see his mood improving. Before we get to out tag team match we hear from the newest member of Frontier Matt Young.

– VIDEO –

Young: “You don’t have to be a genius to know, I’m the real deal!”

(An unrecognizable gruff voice echoed through the hallways backstage in the GCU Events Center, attracting the attention of the camera crew as they rushed into the abandoned room, which was engulfed in darkness. )

Young: “Lets be honest. I’ve pretty much done everything in this business. I’ve won over seventy championships, defeated some of the greatest names in sports entertainment.. I’m.. the definition of greatness.”

(A figure stood glaring outside a window, the moonlight managed to creep in through the mini blinds, illuminating the room just a little, as the light shone against his face, which became a little bit more recognizable. Broken benches stacked on top of each other on one side of the room, broken and indented lockers on the other side, from the look of it, it was an abandoned locker room. The man chuckled as he finally became aware he was not alone, slowly he turned his head towards the camera, his brown determined eyes glued on it as he approached it, grinning from ear to ear as his white teeth glistened. His hands behind his back, hair slicked back, wearing a wrestling attire, each footstep he took created a thud which reverberated through the room. He paused when he got to the nearby benches which were stacked up on top of each other, clearing his throat before licking his dry lips making them moisturize before he could continued.)

Young: “Talent? Check. Charisma? Check. Intelligence? Check. Determination? Check. The attributes you need to be considered one of the best in the business, of course numerous accolades can back you up, but as far as I’m concerned, that was in the past. My past was illustrious, and successful, but I’m not here to dwell on the past, I’m here to talk about the present, the future of this very organization.”

(He emerged from the darkness, his face now more recognizable and clear for the viewers.)

Young: “The present is Matt Young. The future is Matt Young. Yes Frontier Universe, The One and Only has arrived. I’m not here to play around, I’m not here for fun and games. I’m here to rectify my position as the best, sure this may not be the biggest federation.. but it well damn is one of the best when it comes to wrestling.”

(He cleared his throat as he gazed at the camera, afterwards continuing.)

Young: “Some of the best wrestlers who haven’t even been unveiled to the world are here. Some of the best wrestlers who have been there and done that. I’m here for some competition. But you wanna know the main reason I’m here? To be heralded as the GFC World Heavyweight Champion.”

UK Dragons vs The Talbot Brothers

Steven and Laurel start, Laurel lands an inverted atomic drop and a headscissors. Steven fights back and tags in Jason who nails a roaring elbow! A rocked Laurel tags out to Evangelista. Right hand by Jason, Evangelista blocks a whip and kicks Jason in the face. Laurel tags back in and makes a ramp for Evangelista, who jumps off the back of Laurel to nail Jason Talbot with a leg lariat. The duo gets a drop toehold/bulldog combo for a two count. Tag to Evangelista who leapfrogs Laurel and lands on the arm of Jason. Jason gets a knee lift and tags Steven in, he tries a German but Evangelista holds the ropes and tags in Laurel. Double back elbow and double senton gets two for the UK Dragons, showing good team work here with lots of quick tags. Laurel knocks Jason off the apron, Steven then smacks Laurel.

After a failed superplex attempt from Jason Talbot, Laurel is left on the turnbuckle. Steven crotches Laurel on the corner post and tags in. Jason applies a chinlock, Laurel tries to fight back but is cut off and eats a double vertical suplex. Jason and Steve showing signs of good teamwork too, the reason they have won so many titles together. The referee forces the team to get back to their corners. Laurel gets her leg swept by Jason who picks her up and side slams her back to the canvas. Jason sets for Aftermath Edge (Face First Razors Edge)…. Evangelista jumps in to break up the move. Jason levels both Dragons with a double clothesline Shots to Evangelista in the corner, a whip and charge is blocked by Evangelista. Jason tries to kick Evangelista in the head, she blocked it and Laurel comes out of nowhere and kicks him in the head. Jason Talbot is sent crashing to the floor and Laurel rolls out to the ring apron.

Springboard crossbody to the floor by Evangelista! Jason tries to suplex Laurel back in but ends up hitting a flying Suicide Dive to Evangelista after Laurel escaped. Tope Suicida by Laurel. All four competitors are down on the floor as the crowd chant “This is Awesome!” Jason is the first to get back up, rolling back into the ring to prevent the count out. Laurel follows him back in, grabbing him and pushing him into a corner. She steps back and charges in, but Jason nails a Last Call (Superkick) Cover… EVANGLISTA MAKES THE SAVE AT TWO!!

Steven rolls in after Evangelista, who cuts him off and takes him over with a hip toss. She steps back and charges in, the STEVIE G (Running shoot kick to the back of the head of a sitting opponent). She pushes Steven to the floor and gets out of the ring herself, leaving Laurel and Jason as the legal pair. Jason whips Laurel to the corner and follows with a big back elbow. He gets Laurel set for brainbuster but before he nails it Evangelista grabs him from behind. She blind tagged herself in! HEADBREAKER!! 1…2…3!!!

Your winners, the UK Dragons!

That was one hell of a match between two of the great British tag teams. The Talbot brothers teaming together for the first time in years while the UK Dragons showed great teams work in what one can only describe as a trying time. Heres hoping the tag team division of Frontier will continue to grow with such talented teams.

A montage of Madman Szalinski and Pat Gordon Jnr. clips is shown, with a deep voiced narrator over the audio of the clips. Dramatic music akin to the old NFL Films tunes accompanies in the background.

“After the conclusion of FRONTIER vs. FGA II, the bad blood still flows…”

Szalinski is seen hoisting his GFC Commonwealth Championship over his head, followed by Pat Gordon Jnr. having his arm raised after a victory.

“Madman Szalinski and Pat Gordon Jnr. still have issues to settle…”

The scene from A New Era where Madman and Pat are in each other’s faces now shows.

“Tonight…the differences will be settled as the Phoenix desert heats up even hotter!”

Fading to black, the video soon ends and returns to live action in the center of the ring.

— /VIDEO —

This match has gotten personal over the few weeks and I for one was excited to see how this match went. I can promise it didn’t disappoint.
Madman Szalinski vs Pat Gordon Jr

Madman hands the title to Ariel while still on the floor, and the two exchange a kiss. Madman then leaps onto the ring apron, quickly stepping through the ropes and meeting Pat Gordon Jnr. in the middle of the ring with a chest bump. Szalinski puts his arms out and asks Pat “what now? what you got?” while Pat’s response is to nod at Madman silently, shoving him back with small pushes while both men await the referee’s instruction to ring the bell and begin the match. The crowd is antsy and the anticipation thickens every corner of the arena.

The bell rings, not a moment too soon as both men lock up, Pat pushing Madman back, but Madman using footwork to stay off the ropes. Pat lets go and breaks off the tie-up, but Madman immediately shoots right back in. Madman abandons the elbow and instead goes for a clinch, but Pat is able to break his grip by swatting his hands out. The two briefly circle one another, slapping each other’s hands away, before Pat goes low for a single-leg takedown, but Madman attempts a front facelock and then transitions into a standing butterfly lock to avoid. Szalinski goes around for the back of Gordon, but Pat makes it to the ropes, pulling Madman with him and then pushing him back. Madman rolls backwards to his feet, but a running back elbow puts him onto his back. Pat comes off the ropes, running at him, but Madman rolls to his stomach forcing Pat to jump over him. Szalinski makes it to his feet, leapfrogging a returning Pat Gordon Jnr. as he comes towards him again. However, Pat bounces back even quicker this time, catching a stumbling Madman (who was just landing on his feet from the leapfrog) in the back with a hard shoulder block, sending him tumbling to the canvas with a loud cheer from the crowd. Szalinski again rolls away, but this time stays in the corner as he rises; Pat stays back, letting the capacity crowd applaud the effort of both men.

Madman nods a little bit, adjusting his mask before stepping in, locking horns once more with a very confident Pat Gordon Jnr. Pat starts to push Madman back, but is caught in an arm ringer and quickly pushed down to one knee with a foot against his calf. Szalinski lays a very rough kick to Pat’s shoulder, which prompts him to stand up in pain-induced anger. Pat gets Szalinski’s wrist and attempts to twist him around. He successfully breaks Madman’s hold, but fails to properly cinch the Human Anomaly with his hammerlock. Szalinski slips out, reapplying the arm ringer and absolutely DRILLING Pat in the side with another kick. Pat drops to a knee again, clutching his ribs with a free hand briefly before Madman pulls him back up. Madman torques the shoulder with another rotation on the arm ringer, then brings Pat down with a fireman’s carry. Sitting the man up, Madman uses the still-hooked arm as the catalyst for a Buffalo sleeper, trying to lock Pat in deeply. By shooting a hand into Madman’s grip and pulling away from his neck, Pat his able to escape the hold and get to his feet by holding onto Madman’s arm, using that to turn behind Madman and catch him in a hammerlock. Pat Gordon Jnr. wraps one arm around Madman’s neck and keeps the other tightly on Madman’s wrist, behind his back. What looks like a variation of a cross-face chicken wing soon becomes even more of a nightmare for Madman: Pat slowly brings Madman’s feet off the canvas…higher…and in the blink of an eye (and the flash of bulbs throughout the crowd) drops Szalinski square on his head with what may be one of the most vicious moves ever seen in Pro Wrestling FRONTIER!!!

Szalinski remains motionless after the hammerlock back suplex, while Pat gets to his feet, standing over his opponent with a clenched fist. Ariel runs around the ring to the closest side where she can reach Madman from underneath the bottom rope. Szalinski Army-crawls towards her, as Pat soaks in the crowd’s cheers by standing at an opposite rope, facing the front row while pointing a thumb backwards towards Madman, and chuckling. Ariel holds Madman’s head by either side, checking to see if he is okay. Madman puts his hands over hers, assuring her he can continue. He gets to all fours, rising up slowly with the assistance of the ropes. When he turns to look back at a patiently waiting Pat Gordon Jnr. and continue the match, he is met with a loud sneer and a “I TOLD YOU WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN!” that draws a collective gasp from the crowd. Holding his neck, Madman is very slow to step out from the ropes, as the referee also checks to affirm that the GFC Commonwealth Champion is indeed able to continue. Satisfied with the response of “let me get this motherfucker!” the referee steps back, motioning for the two men to continue wrestling.

Pat approaches Madman, now the controller of time in this contest. He attempts to lock up with Madman, but his hands are swiftly swatted back. Szalinski now ducks lower, putting his arms out further to deflect Pat’s advances. Gordon finally gets to the smaller Madman with a side headlock and hiptoss combination, but Szalinski flings both legs over Pat’s arm and shoulder in the process. Pat is flipped over with Szalinski, who yanks at Pat’s arm going for an armbar. Using his strength advantage, Pat attempts to pull his arm free, and when this fails resorts to lift Szalinski into the air on his shoulders from the ground! The crowd roars in approval at this display of power…but when Pat moves to reposition Szalinski for what may have been a powerbomb, Madman flings him down with a hurricanrana to swing the crowd’s cheers into his favor for the showing of his speed. Using momentum, Madman rolls back to a crouching position at Pat’s feet, locking them up and going for a Texas cloverleaf. Before Szalinski can flip Gordon over, he is pulled down by the neck and mask by Pat, who balances Szalinski onto his shin and other foot as he rolls back, flipping Madman over and down to the canvas! Both men spin around almost simultaneously, facing each other as they rise. As Pat advances hastily, Szalinski stays still…until Pat reaches him, at which time Szalinski lays a thundering palm strike onto the chin of Pat Gordon Jnr.! Pat stumbles back a step or two before falling to his back, at which point Szalinski immediately leans down to yell into his face “YEAH, BITCH! WORLD STAR!” Many of the urbal Phoenix fans scream at this reference, with a mild to deafening “WORLD STAR HIP HOP *clap clap clapclapclap” chant starting. Madman backs into his corner, yelling at Pat, “Get up! Let’s run this! Don’t get scared, boy!” Pat hops to his feet, barking back “Scared? SCARED?” The referee is almost knocked down as Pat lunges towards Madman, who is waiting for him. The chants immediately stop in favor of non-stop screaming throughout the arena, even by Ariel to support her man. A divided crowd shows their support for Szalinski or Gordon Jnr. as loud as they can.

Pat and Madman approach one another, chest to chest. As the referee approaches them, he is shoved back by both Szalinski and Pat Gordon Jnr. as they claw at one another, both men ignoring all formal training and style in favor of plain old-fashioned brawling. Closed fists, wild kicks, and all sorts of hell break loose in the middle of the ring, and the fans eat it all up! Quickly exiting the ring, the referee waves his hands and shakes his head, quickly escaping up the ramp as Pat slams Madman down with a spinebuster-like takedown, attempting to land several punches to Szalinski.

The referee in charge has ruled this bout a no contest.

— VIDEO —

A handful of fans boo at this announcement, but many are still hanging onto every moment of the action. Ariel hops onto the apron, threatening to step into the ring as Madman somehow breaks free from Pat’s mount, rolling him over and raining down shots to the crowd’s approval. The bell continues to ring and ring as Ariel jumps over the ropes. Madman shoves Pat back down to the canvas, attempting to pass guard and stand up. When Ariel helps pry the two apart and gets Madman to his feet, Pat tackles him and all three fall to the canvas, Pat and Madman rolling out of the ring. Pat lands on his feet, pulling Madman to his while raining short punches to his ribs. Madman shoves Pat away, landing one hell of a palm to the jaw in the process. The two back into the railing, as the front rows of fans scurry away. Pat gets the upper hand, flipping Madman over the barricade and into the crowd! Even more fans back away as Pat grabs Szalinski by the back of the neck and the back of the tights, throwing him into a nearby row of recently-emptied chairs!

Graham Clauson runs down the ramp, soon to be followed by Gina Winters. Ariel stops them at the end of the ramp, asking them not to interfere. They agree, and all three move to get a better view of the action by moving to the nearest barricade. Madman and Pat have brawled their way to another section of the arena, with Madman now fighting back. With an elbow to the gut, Madman buys enough time to push Pat back into a row of bleachers. Madman lifts his arm, yelling out “READY!” as the fans (now gathering around to see the brawl) yell out “DOWN!” as Madman runs towards Pat. He immediately starts to throw Tecmo Elbows, with the crowd doing the “HUT! HUT! HUT!” for him. After five or six, Madman yanks Pat away from the bleachers, pulling him over and slamming his face down into a folded chair nearby. CJ Osborne has came out now as well, along with Michael Hopkins, Jason X, and many other members of the FRONTIER roster. CJ orders Madman and Pat to break it up, but both men are too busy exchanging punches while straddling another row of chairs to hear. Graham and Ariel tell everyone else not to jump in, which CJ responds by telling his wrestlers, flanked by additional security, to break the fight up.

Madman is caught in a side headlock by Pat, who uses it to deliver a standing bulldog into the nearest barricade. Madman drapes himself over while holding his head, where Pat flips him back into the ringside area. The fans are borderline chaotic, and many of the wrestlers are hesitant to approach either man (torn between everybody’s safety as well as getting to see one hell of a fight from the best seat in the house) as Madman uses an ankle to pull Pat Gordon Jnr. down to the floor with him, throwing wild open hands in an attempt to keep him down. Pat flings him off with a couple of kicks, and Madman is caught by a couple of other hands in the small gang forming behind him. Pat gets up and is immediately surrounded by the rest of the group, as CJ Osborne stands between both with his arms outstretched. Although he is holding his neck and head, Madman still spews out violent curses towards Pat Gordon Jnr., many of which are picked up by many ears and cameras in the building.

“Fuck it, this shit’s still on! Let’s go! I’m still good!” Pat’s responses are heard as well. “You see me backin’ down?” Szalinski pushes at the arms holding him back, boldly demanding them to “let me the fuck go, fuckin’ damn it!” Pat manages to wriggle free, pushing back towards Madman who is let go just as Pat meets him. Failing to deflect the first blow, Madman is able to counter the rest by rolling himself and Pat into the ring, away from the mob trying to break them up. Once in the ring, the two stand up and trade blows, many making groestque sounds upon impact and one particular slap opening an obvious cut on the cheek of Pat Gordon Jnr. while an elbow brings blood underneath the mask at Madman’s eyebrow. Blood soon flows from both men as they are once again seperated, Ariel herself waistlocking her husband and pushing him to the corner as Graham assists. Pat checks his cheek, noticing blood on his fingers. With two people holding him back, he still makes several steps towards the center of the ring. Enfuriated, he screams out to be allowed at Madman. Despite Madman wishing for the same thing, both are held apart. CJ Osborne again steps between the men, Madman wiping his face with a towel as Pat is handed one for his cheek (which he throws into the crowd, getting a very loud cheer from an already-rabid crowd.) Undoing Madman’s mask so that she can reach into the front and wipe Madman’s wound, Ariel speaks with Graham and Gina as Pat approaches CJ. The men are allowed brief release from their captors, but both abuse their freedom and head straight for each other, having to be restrained a third time by a sea of security and what appears to be the entire FRONTIER locker room…

…at this point, the fans were asked to leave for security purposes by Jenni Starr. An offer was made to refund the full ticket price for any fan dissatisfied with the result of the main event. However, FRONTIER did not receive a single demand for a refund from any of the 5,000 plus fans in attendance. Even as they filed out of the building, Madman Szalinski and Pat Gordon Jnr. still had to be restrained as CJ, the rest of the Shoot Kings, and other members of the FRONTIER roster all attempted to make peace.

That was… Just wow. We’ve seen some heated rivalries and brutal matches, but this was truly one of a kind. I get the feeling that this isn’t that last time we see these two in a match.

CJ: Good Evening Phoenix!

(Yeah, he went after the cheap pop. What of it?)

CJ: As promised there are several big announcements that needed to be made tonight. The first was made yesterday when I tweeted that I have agreed to allow Ben Hansen vs. Chandler Scott for the GFC Championship. That match will happen on the September 9th taping for Frontier Grappling Arts in Columbus, Ohio.

(A few boos can be heard at the mention of the GFC Championship being defended on a FGA show.)

CJ: Yes, Ideally the match would happen in Frontier. However, one thing that drew me to Frontier in the first place was that it was bold and willing to take risk. One of those risks was allowing the GFC Championship to be defended outside of Frontier events. I have not decided if that rule will be completely reinstated, but as of now Frontier management and the GFC committee will consider request to defended championships outside of Frontier on a case by case basis. All such cases will require the challenger to sign a contract with Frontier that will take effect if they win.

(He pauses for a moment.)

CJ: The next order of business will be upcoming 3rd annual GFC Invitational tournament. Before Hanna Fox left Frontier you were all promised the biggest one to date. That is a promise I plan to make good on. This year’s GFC Invitational will be tag team tournament with the winning team being granted a shot at the GFC Tag Team Champions at a show of their choosing. The title shot must be used within one full year.

(He waits again to let the cheers die down.)

CJ: Now we have the moment you have all been waiting for. Who is going to be the new General Manager of Pro-Wrestling Frontier? When I bought this company I promised I would do an exhaustive search for the person whose hands I would place the booking rights. I’ve enjoyed doing it myself the last few weeks, but I still have an in ring career. I’m not ready to walk away and never stand in this ring as a wrestler. That is why I must hire people to run the day to day operation of Frontier for me.

CJ: As you all know, former General Manager, Scott Mayo has been promoted to the position of president. He will now be running the office and making sure business end of things are handled properly. That leaves the GM opening, and after several weeks of going through applications and interviewing candidates I have settled on a name…. It will come as a shock.

(The lights in the arena begin to dim slightly as a faint yet beautiful piano piece begins to play out in the background. Several spotlights circle around the arena as the crowd looks around in awe. Swirling violins begin to play out a haunting rhythm as smoke emits from the entrance way. Barbarian Horns fire up along with a thunderous dub step beat and distorted guitars as the Instrumental Core Remix of Hans Zimmer’s ‘Time’ fully kicks in. A silhouette appears in the thick grey smog; his head is bowed as he methodically makes his way to the ring. The figure, clad in an expensive looking tailor made grey suit is seemingly smoking a cigarette; his head lolled to one side as he surveys the crowd with a police baton resting on his shoulder. He pauses then points his baton towards the ring as he slowly paces there. The crowd are on their feet, rubbing their eyes in disbelief at who is walking to the ring.)

(As he reaches the ring, he stops to stare out in to the crowd, letting out a short, cruel laugh as he rolls into the ring. He climbs one of the turnbuckles, searching out into the crowd with a Cheshire Cat grin across his face. He hops down as he spins the baton around in his left hand for a moment before resting back against the turnbuckle, staring up into the heavens as if he is looking for answers. CJ Osborne walks to the centre of the ring, extending his hand. The suit clad man stares at it for a second, then reluctantly shakes hands with the pwF Owner. CJ then hands the microphone over to the man he has selected as the new GM of FRONTIER, much to the shock of the crowd. The man is Andreas Lasiewicz!)

Lasiewicz: Surprise…

(Andreas begins to laugh at the reaction of the sold out crowd.)

Lasiewicz: As I look into this crowd, I can see a few shocked faces. In fact, it looks as if none of you expected me to be selected for this position, never mind me applying. You may remember a promotional video that was released a few days ago showing me leaving FRONTIER HQ in the dead of night. The reason I was there? Ironing out the final details for my selection as the new General Manager of FRONTIER!

(“The Morning Star” lifts his arms in mock victory, a Cheshire Cat grin upon his face.)

Lasiewicz: Now I see you scratching your heads, ‘Why Andreas Lasiewicz? Why select him as GM? CJ, you two don’t even get along’. Well personal differences have been put aside for the sake of good business. I have been in this business for over twenty years, and my connections within the industry are extensive. Thus meaning I can bring the very best talent to FRONTIER to help this company progress and not be just the very best promotion in Britain, but the very best in Europe and eventually, the World!

(There is a smattering of applause from the hardcore fans in the front row, impressed by Lasiewicz’s words.)

Lasiewicz: ‘But… what experience do you have, Andreas? What tells me that you could be GM of FRONTIER?’ Well let me remind you of something. I was the former outright owner of GDW and I guided that multimillion dollar company in one of its most fruitful periods.

(Lasiewicz paces around the ring as dictates his management credentials. )

Lasiewicz: The Revolution that the Godfathers of Wrestling promised cannot be completed simply with our actions in the ring. We have instilled a rightful World Heavyweight champion on FRONTIER’s throne; we have readied the rest of the roster by pushing them harder than ever before, making that talent shine through for the whole world to see. And the world is taking notice! Shows are selling out, iPPV sales are through the roof and merchandise is flying off the shelves. But I will not let the hard work that we have accomplished be diminished by the corruption that is seemingly sweeping the wrestling world once more. Now before you say anything about giving MYSELF preferential booking…. As part of my contract as GM, I have waivered my right to compete actively as a member of the FRONTIER roster.

(There is a loud cheer from certain sections of the crowd, obviously those who are not fans of Lasiewicz’s in ring tactics.)

Lasiewicz: Yeah, cheer all you like. It was the right decision to make. As I stated, I will not allow corruption to take root in FRONTIER, and as proof I will not compete. Unless of course an unanimous decision is made by the GFC committee to make a special exception in extreme circumstances. Thus why I am informing the FRONTIER roster to be on best behaviour. Now seeing as this is my first official day on the job, I have several announcements to make. Now obviously, CJ…

(CJ Osborne walks over to Andreas, whispering something in his ear. Lasiewicz simply shakes his head and pushes him off.)

Lasiewicz: I’m not calling you Mr. Osborne. Shut the hell up!

(CJ begins to laugh along with the crowd at this comment. Lasiewicz shakes his head and continues on.)

Lasiewicz: CJ has already announced that the World title will be contested between Chandler Scott and Ben Hansen on September the 9th in FGA. Now I am against this idea, especially seeing as this is a man who has shown zero interest in FRONTIER since winning that tournament last year. But Hansen’s contract as winner of last year’s GFC Invitational winner IS, sadly, legally binding. The match will happen and there is no way around it. But I will say this… I WILL be in attendance that night to make sure that there is no ‘funny business’ on FGA’s behalf and we have a 100% fair match.

(The crowd seem to be torn on this announcement. Some don’t like the idea of Lasiewicz being there in support of his team mate, whilst others obviously feel it is a good idea.)

Lasiewicz: Second on my agenda is announcing our upcoming iPPV. I am pleased to announce that this will be held at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on September the 29th. And the first order was to decide the Number One contender to the UK Dragons’ Tag Team Championship. After looking through the roster and looking at past results and performance I have decided that they will be going two on two on the 29th with…

(Andreas pauses for dramatic effect before staring straight into the camera.)

Lasiewicz: … The Shoot Kings!

(The crowd reacts positively to this announcement, excited about the possibility of this matchup.)

Lasiewicz: Now speaking of Madman, after surveying the carnage of his earlier match with Pat Gordon Jr. I have come up with a solution. There will be a rematch between them on September the 15th. Madman Vs. Gordon will take place once more… But this time I am making sure that he puts the Commonwealth Championship on the line!

(The crowd lets out a loud cheer in response, eager to witness a rematch between the two.)

Lasiewicz: This is the beginning of a new era for Pro Wrestling FRONTIER. I promised change, I promised a Revolution. The change is here. The Fist is Change. Mic drop!

(Lasiewicz drops the microphone, giving a bow to the crowd as he does so as his music strikes up again. He walks right past CJ Osborne and out of the ring as CJ nods his almost reluctant approval as the show draws to a close.)

Andreas Lasiewicz?!?!? And I thought this night couldn’t get any crazier after that Madman vs Gordon match. I’m at a loss for words right now. We’ll see you next time, back int he UK on the 15th.
