Here we go again with another show at Victoria Hall. On this night we saw two friends throw all they had at each other, two young stars continue to make their mark, and two tag team matches that ended is a way we would have never expected. Lets go right into the action with with two competitors looking to earn their way into a title match against Chandler Scott.
Sylar Drake vs. Jay Pride
Two men who are looking to become next in line for a World Championship shot meet in the middle of the ring for a handshake. Shortly after, they lock up with a Greco-Roman tieup, but Jay’s weight advantage quickly comes into play as he overpowers Sylar and locks him in the Standing Side Headlock. Sylar tries to fight off with elbows to the midsection, but it has almost no effect as Pride sweeps his legs and sends him down, still controlling him with the Headlock from the side. Drake counters wisely, rolling him on his shoulders, and Jay has to break the hold before ref can count. Both men get up quickly, but Sylar is a heartbeat quicker and grabs Jay in a Cravate and shoots several stiff knee strikes to the head of the former World Champion. He then snapmares him to the seated position and runs off the ropes, only to hit the sitting Dundee native with a Shining Wizard. He follows it with a Standing Shooting Star Press and gets a two count.
Sylar Irish Whips Pride to the corner and sends several Knife Edge Chops towards the former champ’s chest. Pride then dodges one of the chops and gets behind Sylar, just in position to hit a Bridging German Suplex for two. Sylar gets up and goes for a Clothesline, but Jay ducks and gets behind him again, this time hitting an Atomic Drop followed very quickly by Saito Suplex, again just for two. Sylar rushed at Jay, only to get taken down by Japanese Armdrag. Jay keeps the hold of his arm and applies a pressure on it with a simple armbar, which is likely a signal that he will try to end the match with the Bicep Slicer after a while. Sylar gets to the vertical base after a while and uses the free arm to fight Pride off and make him let go of his arm. He then connects with a Superkick, rocking “The Last Hope”, and then gets behind him and hits an Ocean Suplex, getting a two-count.
Sylar Irish Whips Jay off the ropes and as Pride spring back towards the youngster, he gets taken down and locked into the Crippler Crossface. The former World Champion uses his free arm to one of the Sylar’s arm, the one he focused on before, weakening the hold, then rolls Sylar on his shoulders to get a nearfall. Both men get up quickly and they both go for a Clothesline, which inevitably leads to a crash in the very center of the ring. Both laid out opponents get a round of applause as they try to regroup and get up. Jay is a little quicker and pulls struggling Sylar up. Eventhough it’s intended to lead to quicker offense by Jay, it backfires as Sylar catches Pride off guard and rolls him into a Small Package. Pride gets the shoulder up just before three.
Drake Irish Whips Jay off the ropes again, but this time, Jay comes back with The World of Sport Special (Pendulum Lariat)! Instead of going for the pin, he quickly grabs Sylar’s arm and locks in the Bicep Slicer from the Spider Guard, having to secure his shoulders are not on the mat in the process. Sylar tries to fight off, but to no avail and has to tap out. As “The Game” by Levellers reprises, Jay Pride helps Sylar Drake get up and the duo shakes hands again. Sylar raises Jay’s arm in victory and both men get another round of applause.
Your Winner, Jay Pride!
A great show of sportsmanship between two of FRONTIERS best talents. Jay pulls out the win and puts himself in position to get chance at the GFC Championship… As Jay and Sylar make their way backstage we go to a pre-recorded video.

Madman Szalinski, in mask and T-shirt, walks into the men’s room of the locker room. He taps on the door of the closest stall.
Madman: Yo, I’m here for some of that once-in-a-lifetime action…
CJ Osborne’s voice can be heard from the other side.
CJ: Keep your voice down. This ain’t no regular show we’re talking about here.
Madman: Yeah, I know, the last time we did it, London was never the same.
CJ: Just wait…you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Madman: I know, I know…just hurry up and wash your hands.
Madman walks away, with the scene switching into a random Dubstep beat and the Unsanctioned II logo with text.

The return of Unsanctioned! For those who did witness or hear about the first event this past summer, Unsanctioned was one of the largest independent supershows in the history of professional wrestling. Last years event featured wrestler from over sixteen different wrestling organizations in seventeen matches over two nights. Can’t wait to see what is done this time around.
This summer we saw Jason X take FRONTIER by storm even beating the GFC Commonwealth Champion. However, since then Jason has been on a slumping while Summer Collins has gone on a tear through the ranks. She goes much longer like there she will be have to be in line for a title match, but first she must get through Jason X. Something that is easier said than done. Even in losing efforts Jason has taken both current and former GFC World Champions to the limit.
Jason X vs. Summer Collins
Jason X is first to come to the ring, getting a sizeable ovation upon his entrance. He still marches, almost jogs, to the ring slapping the few hands offered to him before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Crouching down at the corner, he does several deep squats as DMX dies down. Jason X, much of the crowd, and a camera at ringside picking up the action all catch a group of fans in the front rows getting into a dance, still dancing as the song fads to silence. Laughs and cheers are heard as they awkwardly stop dancing, bathed in the crowd’s reaction. Jason just shakes his head and bounces off the ropes, running back and forth a couple of times, swinging his arms.
Summer Collins is next to enter, getting a much clearer cheer from the younger fans. She races down the aisle, jumping right onto the apron and over the ropes. The bell barely rings in time as she leapfrogs high into the air, over a ducking Jason X as he runs across the ring. Turning around, Jason again lunges low. Summer cartwheels away, sizing up Jason X as he again turns around. He comes again, this time continuing through after Summer rolls out of the way, going to the ropes. Summer has to roll over and lay on her stomach as Jason jumps over her. She rolls around to her stomach, kicking herself up to her feet and leaps high again, catching Jason X with her legs and flipping him over with a hurricanrana slash head scissor takedown! Jason’s back up…Summer with another one, no – a leaping armbar takedown! She lets go! They’re back up…Jason gets a hold of her…a delayed Fisherman’s suplex…no, he flips her around into a belly to belly driver…SUMMER COLLINS GETS OUT OF IT WITH AN ARMDRAG! You had to be here in person to really see this one! Our cameras aren’t slow motion, they don’t catch that quite right…THEY’RE STILL BACK ON THEIR FEET! THIS CROWD IS GOING WILD!
The action slows down at this point, with Summer working on Jason’s left arm with standing armbars and wrist locks. Jason uses power to deliver first a standing sideslam, but when she continues to attack the arm, he pulls her in for a suplex and drops her with a vicious brainbuster. He only got two on the cover, but he went for another suplex and Summer got him in a small package, transitioning into an armbar before the one count. Jason stood up, but Summer held on. Jason got her up into the air, onto his shoulders…a powerbomb? No…a standing fireman’s…wait…Jason X falls back into the turnbuckles! He just DRIVES Summer Collins into the buckles! She falls back into the ring, and she’s laid out…Jason goes for the cover…Summer gets a foot to the ropes at two! The fans are torn…a lot of the kids love Summer, a lot of the older fans are behind Jason X…nobody’s booing, they’re all standing…even Jason and Summer (although Summer is doing it by Jason’s help, as he pulls on her hair…) Summer makes her move and catches Jason X off guard with a Stock Market Crash (rock bottom).
Your Winner, Summer Collins!
There are few things better than watching young talent give go at it to move up, and this match was no disappointment. A tough loss for Jason X, but I can’t help but believe he is about to break out once again. Summer however, continues her Undefeated streak in FRONTIER.
The next match features the new GFC Tag Team Champions against one of the oddest parrinings in FRONTIER history, Michael Hopkins vs Chandler Scott. Yes the same two who went at if for the GFC Championship just a few weeks ago. Can they work together or will the long time partner start their first ever Tag Team title reign in style?
Shoot Kings vs. Michael Hopkins & Chandler Scot (Non Title)
This one is one of the oddest pairings in FRONTIER history with the new GFC Tag Team Champions, the Shoot Kings, squaring off against the GFC World Heavyweight Champion, Chander Scott, and the man whom he just defended his title against in Michael Hopkins! And when it came time to introduce the participants, every single fan in the house was on their feet when the Shoot Kings came out first together, Szalinski hoisting both his GFC Commonwealth and GFC Tag Team title, while Graham sports his Tag Team title belt around his waist. Brydon accompanies them as they soak in every bit of adoration they can before getting into the ring, handing their belts off to Brydon, who struggles to carry all three belts and immediately calls for Ariel Shadows to take them, departing after she does so.
The Welsh Dragon and the GFC World Heavyweight Champion enter the ring seperately. Michael Hopkins comes out first to a rousing reception equally as loud as the Shoot Kings. He is approached by Szalinski, who requests a handshake. Hopkins accepts, also shaking the hand of an approaching Clauson. When Chandler Scott hits the arena, the boos echo throughout the halls. Keeping his eyes straight on the ring, and his face devoid of any emotional response to the capacity crowd’s seething jeers, Chandler Scott enters the ring and simply holds the GFC World Heavyweight title over his head, drawing even more hate from the crowd.
As the referee takes the title from Scott, Madman stays in the ring as Clauson steps out. Chandler exits the ring as Hopkins stretches a few times at the ropes, waiting for the bell to ring. It strikes, and Szalinski paces out in front quickly to tie up with Hopkins. They keep going back and forth, with each man getting a brief advantage through a pair of hammerlocks and side headlocks, until Hopkins turns Madman around with a rear waistlock. Madman breaks the grip and uses it to work Hopkins over into an arm ringer. Using a leg onto the shoulders, Szalinski flips Hopkins onto the mat and keeps the arm held in, stepping around to gain his footing and pull Hopkins to his feet while still clinching the arm. Szalinski goes for a kick, but Hopkins is able to duck the kick and break free. He swings at the back of Madman’s head with a two-step running clothesline, but misses when Szalinski ducks. Hopkins keeps his head low and leans back, catching a charging Szalinski. He lifts him high for a sideslam or maybe a backbreaker, but Szalinski rolls over Hopkins’ shoulder and lands on his feet behind him. Szalinski pushes the man to the ropes, but Hopkins backs him away. Michael turns around, Madman comes at him…they meet in the center of the ring…SZALINSKI LANDS ON HIS HEAD AFTER THE LARIAT! Madman is left standing on his head, I kid you not, after Michael Hopkins tried to take it off with a clothesline! Finally, Madman’s feet land on the canvas…but unfortunately, he’s on his back where Michael attempts a cover…Szalinski kicks out at two, and the match continues.
Hopkins tries leading Madman to his feet with a front face lock, but it takes some time. Szalinski manages to push him back into the Shoot Kings’ corner, where he makes the tag to Graham. Hopkins is aware, and lets go of Szalinski. Graham steps into the ring, waiting for his partner to step back onto the apron. Clauson charges Hopkins, but he sidesteps and lets him go to the ropes. Hopkins lifts Graham up for a spinebuster…Clauson with an armdrag! They pop back up…Clauson with another armdrag! Up again…Graham jumps onto Michael’s shoulders! Hurricanrana…no, Michael rolls him up in a sunset flip! A close call, Graham rolls out at two! They’re both back up…Michael swats away a kick! Graham dodges a European uppercut! Graham with a forearm to the face…Hopkins with a knee to the gut! They trade blows in the middle of the ring…Michael’s swaying…Clauson stumbles back after a stiff European uppercut…he comes back with a loud elbow to the side of the head…Michael with a feint punch, he’s losing steam…SWEET DREAMS GRAHAM CLAUSON! What a kick by Michael Hopkins! He stumbles back into his corner…where Chandler Scott makes the blind tag! Hopkins stops him before he gets into the ring, asking his partner what’s going on. Chandler merely brushes him off and quickly goes for a cover on a downed Clauson…Madman barely makes it into the ring to push Chandler off at two and a half! Szalinski throws a wild kick at Chandler, but the referee pulls Madman away into his corner before it can connect. Before stepping back into the ring, Madman yells out “I’MA GET YOU PUNK!” leaving Chandler to shake his head before pulling Graham up into a sitting position, bringing him to his feet. With a grin, Scott waves sarcastically at Madman, which only angers him further.
Scott uses a three-quarter nelson to pull Graham into a neutral corner, laying a pair of chops into him. Chandler whips Clauson across the ring, sending him to the buckles. Chandler comes in, charging at a stumbling Graham Clauson with an outstretched arm. Was he attempting an early Harvard Hammer? We won’t know because Clauson rolled him up in a crucifix to a two-count and a roar of cheers from the crowd. Both Szalinski and Hopkins stretch their arms out for a tag. Clauson obliges his partner, but Chandler merely leans into his corner to rest, avoiding Michael Hopkins as he reaches out for the tag. Hopkins begins to get agitated, demanding that Chandler “work with me, this is a fuckin’ team effort” but is still ignored and blown off by Chandler Scott. Throwing up his hands, Michael Hopkins sighs…
…and drops off the apron!
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” Chandler screams at Michael, who raises his arms to his sides and shakes his head, the crowd roaring in approval….never mind, NOW THEY’RE ROARING! SZALINSKI ROLLS CHANDLER SCOTT UP FROM BEHIND!
ONE!
TWO!
THRHE KICKED OUT!
Chandler Scott BARELY kicked out of that schoolboy! Scott is left on his knees, looking back at Hopkins (getting a chair and having a seat at ringside) while Szalinski raises three fingers into the air, holding them a few feet away from Chandler’s face. “That’s all it takes Chandler!” Leaning over the ropes to talk to Brydon briefly, Madman then tags in Graham Clauson before exiting the ring himself, going over and standing beside the seated Hopkins. Chandler is bewildered, but he is on his feet with his eyes on Graham Clauson. The two finally connect in the center of the ring, this match apparently becoming a one-on-one contest.
Clauson comes into Chandler, but is avoided. He continues to the ropes, coming back at Chandler and missing with a back elbow. Chandler swings with a high lariat, but Graham ducks it as well. Graham puts a foot in Chandler’s gut, swinging him onto his shoulders for something. Chandler wriggles free, getting Graham in a rear waistlock. Graham manages to turn the waistlock around into one of his own. He lifts Chandler’s feet off the mat, but they land right back down. Chandler breaks Graham’s grip, using it to twist him around in an arm ringer and then a short arm clothesline. The crowd starts to pound the bleachers, trying to rouse up Clauson (even Madman and Michael, who have gotten their hands on an extra-large bucket of popcorn, are in on the yelling) with cheers and stomps.
Clauson gets to his knees, while Chandler uses the ropes to pull himself up. Clauson comes in with an elbow strike. Chandler throws one of his own. Graham with a second. Now Chandler with one. Chandler with two…Chandler spins and delivers one…Graham wobbles back to the ropes…HE BOUNCES BACK WITH A FRONT DROPKICK! Chandler holds his stomach as he is now backed to the ropes…HARVARD HAMMER! Graham Clauson spins 450 degrees in the air from the impact! Chandler covers him, hooking the leg and holding on…and this one is all over!
Winners: Chandler Scott & Michael Hopkins
There you have it! Despite not working together and Hopkins walking out on his partner, the odd pairing won. You have to know that that the GFC Champion will have something to say about how this match went down.
– VIDEO –
Graham rolls out of the ring, where Brydon is waiting. Madman shakes Michael’s hand, saying something along the lines of “good game”. Madman walks over to Graham and Brydon, kneeling down to check on his partner. Looking up, Szalinski’s eyes are fixated on Chandler Scott, who raises his GFC World Heavyweight Championship in the air as the ref raises his hand, the crowd jeering every moment. Rather than celebrate with his “partner”, Hopkins instead remains seated, surveying the match’s outcome as well. Scott looks back at Hopkins, pointing to his title and winking, before looking back at Madman. The smile on his face briefly disappears, as the two men glare daggers at one another. Chandler puts the belt on his shoulder, stepping off to the apron, and finally gets his smile back as he drops down to the floor, turning his back to Szalinski and walking away.

Now for our main event of the night. the former tag champions, the UK Dragons, against OOKAMI no Chi & Veronique. While not a normal team OOKAMI no Chi & Veronique both work with developmental talent. This should be a good one.
UK Dragons vs. OOKAMI no Chi & Veronique
Evangelista & Laurel Anne Hardy vs OOKAMI no Chi & Veronique
OOKAMI and Veronique enter first, chatting under their breath. They’ve never teamed before, and had never even met until a couple of days ago, so this is expected to be something of an uphill battle for them despite OOKAMI’s recent upset win over Hardy.
Evangelista and Hardy technically enter together, but Evangelista’s trailing several feet behind Hardy and they’re not paying each other much attention. Hardy seems in an uncharacteristically foul mood as she just rolls into the ring with none of her usual theatricality. She scoops up a mic.
Laurel Anne Hardy: So I haven’t exactly had the best week an’ I could do with venting some aggression… and OOKAMI, I know you and me agreed after our last match that we still hadn’t even scratched the surface of what we can do in a no-DQ environment. So what do you say – Chivalry is Dead?
The referee looks to Veronique and OOKAMI, who confer for a moment before agreeing to Laurel’s suggestion. The ref makes sure they’re certain, and indicates that the change is official… just as Evangelista steps into the ring looking about as pissed off as it’s possible to be. She crosses over to Hardy and looks like she’s about to unleash a stream of invective, but the bell rings and OOKAMI and Veronique go straight after Hardy and Evangelista respectively.
The opening of this is just a straight-up brawl. After a couple of minutes of trading heavy strikes OOKAMI whips Hardy into the ropes and charges in with a high knee – only to be thrown over the ropes to ringside! Hardy vaults into an asai moonsault, and she and OOKAMI start brutalising each other on the outside, throwing each other into every hard surface available.
Meanwhile the veteran Veronique is punishing Evangelista in the ring, outpacing the youngster who was clearly unprepared for this sudden change in rules. After a few minutes where Evangelista just can’t get her bearings, including extensive use of a kendo stick by Veronique, Veronique swings her into a sharpshooter. Leanne tries crawling for the apron, but Veronique walks her back into the middle of the ring. Hardy counters a dive from OOKAMI into a powerbomb on the barricade, and turns towards the ring where she sees Evangelista’s plight.
Hardy crosses over, but it’s not exactly with haste. She reaches under the ropes and grabs Evangelista’s hands, pulling her out of the sharpshooter and out of the ring entirely. Veronique catches both women with a baseball dive under the ropes, then hits the far side… tope atomico! NO! The Dragons split apart, and Veronique crashes and burns.
Laurel climbs onto the apron and hops onto the middle rope while Evangelista slides into the ring and bounces off the far side. She comes back and dives through Hardy’s legs, spearing Veronique into the guardrail as she stands. Hardy yells at Evangelista to get out of the way, and she completes another asai moonsault. I guess the tension between the Dragons can’t be that bad if they can hit their signature double team spots like that… or not! They’re in each other’s faces again, no words being said but clearly still not happy with each other! And the penalty for focusing more on each other than the match is OOKAMI leaping from the top turnbuckle and flooring them both with a diving crossbody.
OOKAMI helps Veronique to her feet and the international twosome retake control of the match. As it progresses the difference is clear – OOKAMI and Veronique have each other’s backs, while the Dragons are taking their sweet time to make the save any time it’s needed. I don’t know whether they’re each trying to see if the other can get herself out of trouble on her own, or just enjoying each other’s suffering, but either way it’s a disturbing sight from what has traditionally been FRONTIER’s closest and most mutually-supportive tag team.
The match progresses with more high-flying feats and more brutal use of the ring and ringside furniture as offensive weapons, and the fans seem to be enjoying it on that level at least, even if they’re concerned by the animosity between the Dragons. Evangelista, with little help from her partner, manages to separate their opponents and she and Veronique end up on the outside. This time Evangelista takes control, keeping the older woman grounded with takedowns and holds. Meanwhile, OOKAMI builds a structure out of chairs in the centre of the ring after dispatching Laurel with a springboard reverse DDT.
She grabs the ring steps – the same ones Hardy almost crushed OOKAMI’s skull with last month, before relenting – and manoeuvres them into the ring. She and drags Hardy up onto them and lifts her up for the Chasedown Bomb into the chairs – but Hardy slams the kendo stick Veronique used earlier into OOKAMI’s back! It’s enough to make The Great Sato’s apprentice loosen her grip, and Hardy breaks free. She boots OOKAMI in the stomach, and a Flower Plower Mk. III through the chairs is enough to pick up the win!
Your Winners, Evangelista & Laurel Anne Hardy
The former champions won, and if you think they weren’t on the same page during the match… Watch this.
– VIDEO –
Evangelista slides into the ring and the ref raises the Dragons’ hands, but they’re no closer to cohesion despite their victory. Evangelista mutters something which Laurel totally blanks. Instead, Hardy calls for a mic, and she gets given one.
Laurel Anne Hardy: Malcolm Drake… I bet you’re backstage somewhere. And Alexander StarrZoe, if you’re around, you listen up too. I’ve warned you that I don’t fuck around. I might not slam the steps into OOKAMI’s head because she’s my mate… I’m not gonna be so gracious to everyone. That match didn’t scratch the itch. I-
Suddenly Leanne shoves Hardy with both hands, making her drop the mic!
Laurel Anne Hardy: What the hell!?
Evangelista, face flushed, rounds on her partner.
Evangelista: No, what the hell’s with YOU, Laurel? Have you not learned a damn thing in the last three months?
They get nose to nose, talking to each other quietly but angrily, the frustration between them palpable. Laurel’s initial attempts to calm the situation quickly turn into defensive barbs. The mic on the floor can’t pick up exactly what’s being said, but some nasty things are clearly being exchanged. Laurel throws her hands in the air in annoyance as Evangelista sighs and rubs her face… then levels Hardy with a right hook to the jaw! Laurel falls on her ass in shock.
Evangelista: Will you just fucking NOT… GAAH!!
Anger keeps her from articulating what she wants to say, turning the words into a frustrated scream, but it doesn’t stop her from kicking Laurel’s head almost clean off with a Stevie G! She runs her hands through her hair frantically as tears start pouring down her face, then she shakes her head and hurriedly leaves the ring and heads backstage, ignoring the shocked fans and her equally shocked opponents.
– /VIDEO –
Still in shock after seeing that. What will this mean for the former champions? What does this do for their spot in the GFC Tag team Tournament in December?
